Abstract :The purpose of this study is to analyze the use of the Internet and related issues among the students of six Engineering colleges of Jalgaon city. A well structured questionnaire was distributed among the 300 students of all the Engineering colleges of Jalgaon city. The response rate was 80%. This study demonstrates and elaborates the various aspects of Internet use such as frequency of internet use, most frequently used place for internet use, purposes for which the Internet is used, problems faced by the users and satisfaction level of the users. It was found that the Internet has become a vital instrument for learning process of these respondents.

Abstract :The study was conducted a user satisfaction of engineering college faculty and students: a case study of library and information centre of Gates Institutes Of Technology Central Library, Gooty, Anantapur, A.P. Questionnaire was the main instrument for collecting data. 250 copies of questionnaires were distributed, 216 were returned. The overall response was 86.4% students of different disciplines regarding library resources, services, physical facilities, Internet and computerization of library services etc.

Abstract :One and all agree with this saying that inforamtion is needed in all walkes of life and it is a vital resource for overall development of the civilization. Information plays a significant role in our personal as well as professional life. Information is growing day by day The present paper highlights the investigate Information searching habits of engineers working in the engineering colleges under the Haryana and Punjab universities. The data of survey was collected through a structured questionnaire. The questionnaires were distributed to 500 respondents, working in 20 engineering colleges (25 each) randomly to the faculties member and research- scholar. 310 filled in questionnaires were returned by the engineers with the response being 62%.

Abstract :The study described the information on prevalence on Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs) and the use of massive open online courses (MOOCs) and how it is impacting traditional online learning (e-learning) channels for which students and continuing-education candidates pay money in order to earn certifications. The development of MOOCs, a technology that enables anyone with a computer and Internet access to create and consume learning content, by various firms, increased use of MOOCs in corporations and launch of branded. It suggests that the quality of MOOCs makes them competitive with more traditional learning channels and discusses how free online education could change the U.S. higher education model.

Abstract :The analyzed result revealed that 1555 citations were cited from 7 theses of Zoology awarded by Chaudhary Charan Singh Agricultural University, Hisar Haryana from the period 2010-2014. The forms wise distribution of citations shows that 88.74 percent were from journals followed by books with 5.09 percent. There were two major forms of literature, which comprise 93.83 percent of total citations.

Abstract :The Study conducted the awareness of social networking sites by the Student of Basaveshwar Engineering College, Bagalkot, Karnataka. Structured questionnaires were used to collect data from a respondents of 140 students. The study found that a majority of the students were aware of social networking sites and use these sites for friendly communication. Facebook was the most popular and used social networking site than Yourube and Google+. A number of students visited social networking sites twice a week and always send new friends. Though the students indicated that lack of security and privacy are the main concerns of social networking sites.

Abstract :Personality is one among the many factors that act as a source of job satisfaction. Job satisfaction has been identified as an important topic in organizational research due to its many effects on the overall well-being of the organization. Personality is one of the antecedents of job satisfaction. This study aims to explore the level of personality, job satisfaction and routineness or working condition among library employees and the relationship between these three factors. A survey has been conducted in the libraries of the University of Calcutta. The sample consisted of 100 library employees of University of Calcutta. A Questionnaire with three instruments was administered among the library employees to measure their job satisfaction, and five factor model of personality and routineness or working condition. The survey was carried out with the help of scales of personality traits, job satisfaction and routineness or working condition.

Abstract :This study mainly focuses on adoption of whatsApp in university libraries. WhatsApp is an instant messaging app for smartphones that operates under a subscription business model. It is the proprietary, cross-platform app uses the Internet to send text messages, images, video, user location and audio media messages and voice call. It is a smart phone messenger available for Windows Phone and other smart phones. WhatsApp uses your 3G/EDGE or Wi-Fi (when available) to message with friends and family. Hence if the libraries adopt the whatsApp, they can give the quick services to users. The present study shows the whatsapp adoption in six university libraries for providing its services.

Abstract :Public libraries confer both direct and indirect social as well as economic benefits to the individuals of the localities in which they are located. Public libraries serve a lot of direct benefit to the individuals via the services provided by library collections, circulation and reference transactions, programming, and electronic resources, etc. Public libraries principal contribution to community culture is through their lending, reference and local history collections. The use of public libraries helps to convert an illiterate individual to a literate one, which is an indirect benefit. The public libraries are also a major employer in their own right. Most public library employees, mainly in the LDCs like our country India, live within or close to their respective localities. They tend to spend their salaries to the surrounding localities. These salaries are injected into the surrounding local economy which indirectly creates a multiplier process in the local economy. It is also another indirect economic effect.
