Abstract :Stress refers to the availability of any Disturbing Forces in an environment. This “Environment” may refer to an Organization, Industry or any other Work Place depending upon the study undertaken. The present study is undertaken with an aim to study about Time Management and its relevance to Stress, Gender and Academic Achievement among the sample MBA Students, with special reference to Madurai region. Recent studies have stated that the students, especially MBA students face the problem of improper time management and as a result they are faced with a varied amount of Stress. Many factors such as Mixture of students (students with various UG background opt for MBA), Attitude of students, Socio Economic Factors, etc constitute to stress. Apart from the problem of facing stress improper time management also pose a challenge to the Academic Achievements of the Students. This study would deal in detail about the various above said issues and as a result measures would be suggested to overcome the problem of improper time management.

Abstract :Ninety percent of the jobs in India are skill-based and only six percent are equipped with the right skill sets. Only two percent of the total Indian students in the 15-25 years age group undergo vocational training. Noticing this shortfall the UGC and the MHRD have started to introduce vocational courses in higher education revamping existing courses and curriculum. A necessity has also arisen to realign libraries and their services with the emerging needs of the vocational education so as to ensure that the students in higher education system get appropriate and adequate library resources which augment their knowledge and skills for employment and entrepreneurship.

Abstract :Since physical distance has no mean for the conducting and operating a business in any part of the world due to the process of globalization. Concept of Multinational & Transnational organizations emerged with a number of large sized entities crossing boundaries and entering into different countries for doing business due to reduce in global distance and hence the boundaries are removed between the nations & a number of such companies are also listed at the stock exchanges of various countries. But as when in Britain its important to speak English similar is the case with language of business. Even though boundaries are crossed but each company is following a different set of accounting rules as per prevailing in the parent country. A number of companies turned to the big sized U S market and tried to be listed there but for listing requirements at U S it is very important for companies to convert their accounting standards as per the conditions laid by SEC & FASB even if they are following IAS which is a time and efforts consuming process such problems led to the need of Global Accounting Standards which could be used for global and national listings alike hence comes International Financial Reporting Standards popularly known as IFRSs. This paper gives a brief description of what exactly IFRSs are, why are they required and how they are going to be implemented in India.

Abstract :Information and communication technologies (ICT) facilitate the process of identification, collection, storing, processing and disseminating of information. The library and information science professionals are utilizing ICT to keep pace with the problem of information explosion. The benefit of instant access to digital information is the most distinguishing attribute of the information age. In this paper, the authors tried to highlight the libraries/information centers in the 21st century, the different components of providing digital information services, and Information and Communication Technology’s role in modernizing libraries. In Bangladesh, the use of ICT is yet to take off. In absence of strong telecommunication the Internet facility is not spread out successfully. Financial constraints are the major hindrance for its growth at the national, local and organizational levels. As a result, the implementation of ICT facilities for libraries is not receiving adequate support from their parent body. Most of the libraries in Bangladesh do not have computer facilities. The print media is still a major source of information in libraries. However, the situation is changing, and the library professionals should be ready for everything to cope with the new ICT used in libraries/information centers. In this paper, the authors intended to emphasize the expected change in libraries/information centers in respect of user services and how to cope up with.

Abstract :In this present era Information and Communication Technology has had an impact on almost all aspects of library and information work. To know the use of ICT in the libraries of three central universities a questionnaire has been distributed to 900 users of all the three central universities in Hyderabad. 785 respondents filled up the questionnaire, remaining of them showed great reluctance. (76.18%) of the respondents using ICT for their study purpose, (61.15%) of the respondents are browsing internet with using Mozilla Firefox browser, (54.27%) of the respondents are browsing internet with using Google search engine, (70.57%) of the respondents are given reply as their library is fully automated, (72.48%) of the respondents are given reply as they are aware about e-resources available in their library, and (72.23%) of the respondents are given reply as they are learnt to use of e-resources available in their library through self learning.

Abstract :Users of any type of library or especially academic library are still depends upon the library resource. In today’s era knowledge is available at one touch or one click still reader depends upon the library for basic and authentic knowledge of books. According to SWOT analysis this is very strong point of traditional academic libraries and library has great opportunity to develop it according to new technological basis and according to new generation user’s need. Academic syllabus also based on inclusion of new information technology and modern techniques of information collection, storage and quick retrieval. So updated library collection development, use of advanced technology in daily routine of library functions is must and unavoidable demand of new era. Otherwise library will becomes space consuming record rooms of reading materials.
