Abstract :Abstract— While many efforts have been made in the audio signal classification field, the noise embedded signal problem is seldom concerned so far, especially in many telecommunication applications, where a real-time and noise robust approach is needed. In this paper a ‘Four Class Speech/Music Classifier’ is proposed which gives 95% classification accuracy in real world noise with less computation time. |

Abstract :Abstract— With the advent of latest technologies, speech analysis has changed the potential in many security and confidential systems. Such systems are employed in automatic recognisation system who is speaking on the basis of individual information included in speech waves. This technique enhances the chances of identity and control access to services such as voice dialing, banking by telephone, telephone shopping, database access services, information services, voice mail, security control for confidential information areas, and remote access to computers. Many systems have been made which costs a lot due to expensive software which checks the voice characteristics of the input utterance, using an automatic speaker recognition system. This paper depicts analysis side of the system implemented using freeware language SCILAB. The synthesis side includes speech production with the extraction of MFCC parameters employing articulation algorithm. The digital filters have been implemented for extraction feature .The signal processing application of SCILAB has become boon in comparison to MATLAB for all programmers. |

Abstract | Full Text |
Abstract :Abstract— In order to operate a microstrip antenna at various frequencies and to improve other parameters of microstip antenna various designs configurations are performed. For this purpose IE3D software has been taken for experimental study. Planer designs are mostly preferred for these structures, due to their advantages of small size, low manufacturing cost and conformabilty.Microstrip patch antenna of 20X20 mm size is designed on a FR4 substrate of thickness 1.59mm and relative permittivity of 4.4.This layer consists of several grills of same dimensions. Triple Frequency operation is obtained with stable pattern characterization, such as gain and polarization within its bandwidth. Impedance matching is also observed for this case. Details of the measured and simulated results are presented and discussed in this paper. |

Abstract :Abstract— Design and analysis of a single-feed arrangement of hexagonal patches is proposed, which is proficient of pro-viding circular polarization along with broadband implementation. An antenna is designed on a glass epoxy FR-4 substrate with overall thickness of the structure less than 1.6 mm or 0.11A0. Axial ratio bandwidth better than 4.3 % at 5.7 GHz, 6.8% at 8.2GHz and impedance bandwidth better than 27% may be achieved with the proposed hexagonal geometry. Calculated gain and axial ratio variations of the pro¬posed antenna with frequency are compared to simulated results for better understanding. The measured E-plane and H-plane radiation patterns in the entire impedance bandwidth are exactly same in shape, and the direction of maximum radiations is normal to the patch geometry designed. In the complete axial ratio bandwidth range of the pro¬posed hexagonal patch antenna, the E-plane left circularly polarized patterns are nearly 15 dB higher than the corresponding right circularly polar¬ized patterns. |
