In this paper an idea is proposed to develop a speech interactive system to provide web application services. The main aim is to provide these services to the special ones who are unable to make use of the current system so efficiently. In this proposed work the main focus is on the WEB APPLICATIONS. It is tedious for the disabled people who are unable to access internet, this system will help them to download news, or even access their mails through speech. The idea is to incorporate several applications like Email Reader/Sender, News, Reader, Web Content, Blog, RSS Reader, Local System File Reader, Text/Document Reader, and Voice Command System. The proposed system develops the ability to handle web applications along with the O.S, mouse and keyboard control through speech. So that they can be used by disabled people without the use of the hands to develop an interface between the computer and the user. This is an attempt to develop web application through speech interaction. |

So a plant may be viewed as a large number of finite geometric areas arranged on the floor space of the building. The problem of arranging these areas in an effective manner is the facility layout problem. The importance of facility layout is the efficient arrangement operation of an enterprise due to their effect in achieving an efficient product flow. In the present work, alternative multiple criteria decision making methodologies are used for selection of facility layout design selection problems. Here the PROMETHEE (Preference Ranking Organization Method for Enrichment Evaluation) and VIKOR (the Serbian name is ‘Vlse Kriterijumska Optimizacija Kompromisno Resenje’); the two multi-criteria decision analysis (MCDA) method based ranking procedures are presented and is compared with the results of the available MCDA based ones. This study proposes an approach of deriving the rank value, in order to get optimal configuration, from the average of more than one set of rank results obtained through the deployment of MCDA methodologies. |

Muruganantham, G.Vignesh, R.Vignesh, P.Madhan, R.Kathiravan | Abstract | Full Text | Abstract : The purpose of this experiment is to study heat transfer characteristics of water through pool boiling over horizontal stainless steel tube heater from the heat flux 20 kw/m 2 to CHF (critical heat flux) the present experiment data is compared with that of the existing correlations such us rohsenow, cornwell-houston, zuber’s, kruzhilin, kutateladze and labuntsov correlation it is found that the experiment data had good aggrement with cornwell-houston, kruzhilin, kutateladze correlation with an error band of ±15, ±20, ±20 respectively. In order to minimize the error band, the pool boiling experimental data of water have been analyzed by regression analysis in the general form of heat tranfer coefficient h=aqb and the coefficient of equation a= 0.19 and intex of equation b=0.80 were calculated. This correlation found ±7 percent of error with that of experimental data |

The most common chemical treatment consists of modifying the morphology of silicon eutectic phase from acicular to fibrous form, thus improving the mechanical properties. The basic properties of this alloy can be improved by the proper choice of melt treatments such as grain refinement and modification followed by precipitation hardening treatment at optimum heat treatment condition of temperature and time. The present study envisages optimizing the ageing condition of 319 alloy. The melt treatment involves grain refinement with Ti-B master alloy and modification with Al-Sr master alloy. The alloy cast in permanent mould is machined to make samples for evaluation of mechanical properties and metallographic studies. The machined samples were subjected to solution treatment at a constant temperature of 500°C and aged at different temperatures. The effect of ageing on microstructure will be discussed |
| 3-D Modeling And Finite Element Analysis Of EOT Crane | Author : Abhinay Suratkar, Vishal Shukla | Abstract | Full Text | Abstract : —The design of an overhead crane with a double box girder has been investigated and a study of a crane with 10 ton capacityand 12 m span length has been conducted.It is not possible for the real experimental studies to take into consideration the influence of the connections between the main beams and the rest parts of the construction, the influence of the longitudinal and transverse ribbings as well as the influence of the supports on the overall stressed state of the construction. Moreover, the researches that use for the majority of the test cases different strain measurement sturn out to be quite hard and expensive. All these problems could be solved successfully by the use of computer modelling procedures. It is possible to perform 2D or 3D computer studies. The 2D computer studies give idea of the planar behaviour of the construction and lack the opportunity of showing the influence of supports or the connections of the construction. It is only the 3D models that could satisfy all the requirements for examining the general stressed state of the carrying metal construction. With regard to this, the creation of 3-D models for researching and analysing thebehaviour of an overhead crane, becomes the main goal of the present workIn the initial phase of the study, conventional design calculations proposed by Indian Standard Rules were performed. The crane design was modelled with solids Loads and boundary conditions were applied to solid model. Assign material to the solid model. Finite Element meshes were generated from the solid model. After a comparison of the finite element analyses, and the conventional calculations, the analysis was found to give the most realistic results. As a result of this study, a design optimization method for an overhead crane is proposed. |

After successfully connecting a mobile to a PC the user is able to access all the data from mobile i.e. messages, contacts, phone, memory and also for connecting to internet from mobile is done. But whenever different mobiles i.e. of different companies are to be connected again it requires different PC suites to be installed on PC for interfacing. This becomes tedious task to install different PC suites. So, the idea suggested in this paper is trying to provide a common interface for different mobiles so that this PC suite becomes universal and it helps to connect all these different mobiles to a common PC suite. This will save time. This “Universal PC Suite” will be designed with the help of the AT commands because of more than 90% of the mobiles support AT commands.AT commands are the instructions used to control a modem. AT is abbreviation of Attention but it sometimes preferred as Attention Telephony. Many of the AT commands are used to control wired dial-up modem. To detect these AT commands by our desktop the HyperTerminal is used. HyperTerminal is an application for connecting computer to other remote system. |

The degraded image, blurred image and noised image effect the medical diagnosis of image data, satellite image for information retrieval. Various authors and researcher propose a method of image enhancement such as histogram equalization, multi-point histogram equalisation and some method based on neural network and wavelet threshold. Wavelet is very important transform function for image enhancement. Wavelet transform function decomposed layer wise one layer is called details layer and another layer is called approximation layer. The details layer acts as threshold function and approximate layer is processing of image enhancement. For the processing of neural network used approximate layer data. The use of neural network in image enhancement gives a better performance in compression of all conventional enhancement technique. In this paper we discuss the image en enhancement based on neural network and wavelet transform function processing. |
