Abstract :The article describes an application for developing a virtual simulator of Lego robots, which is used for training in their programming. The basic steps in using the C # language and the UNITY game engine in creating the simulator are shown. The application is designed to provide easy selection and management of the user interface of students and is adapted to work with virtual reality - VR, including a helmet. The idea is to simulate learners to use this type of technology and their affinity for learning robot programming. The functional possibilities of the created simulator during training are also described |

Abstract :The paper aims at reviewing an opportunity for checking students’ knowledge of English in an amusing way. Among the great number of platforms, Kahoot has a significant role as a means of tests composing in the form of games. Teachers can choose the material to be practiced or tested with the game and the type of the game itself. The present work considers step by step the development of three short tests on lexis studied in the seminars.
Also, it depicts the stages of the games played in an online environment. Furthermore, the results of the questionnaire distributed after testing the games are summarized |

Electronic textbook applications in the primary school stage - longitudinal study |

Abstract :This article presents a longitudinal study on the applications of electronic textbooks in the educational process in primary school. The study was carried out between 2018 and 2021 using MS Forms. In 2018 a survey was completed by 158 respondents and in 2021 an extended version of the same survey was completed by 91 respondents, most of whom are primary school teachers. The survey aims to determine pedagogues’ attitude towards and opinion of electronic textbooks. The content of the questions targets the teachers’ opinion, assessment and attitude towards the topic. The questions are factual and subjective, and the responses range from multiple choice to open-ended. One of the questions requires a rating scale response.
The first 22 items are identical in the 2018 and 2021 surveys.
The latter survey also includes 4 additional questions regarding the use of electronic textbooks while teaching in an online learning environment.
The empirical data, which has been gathered, has been systemized and reasonable conclusions have been drawn, which serve as the basis for accomplishing the key objective of the research. |
