Abstract | Full Text |
Abstract :The vehicle which is used to explore the terrains of planets and its moons is called Rover. Rover used to explore the Moon is called a Lunar Rover. Usually these rovers use electrical motors for their
propulsion. The power required for electric motors is produced by solar panels. Solar panels increase the weight and volume of the mission. This is undesirable for any space mission. Here the choice of using shape memory alloys as actuator for propulsion of the lunar rover is explored |

Abstract | Full Text |
Abstract :For the first time, a method for frequencies and form determination of hydroelastic natural oscillations of hydroturbine head covers has been developed. Eigenmodes of the structure oscillations in fluid were investigated as a series in terms of vibration eigenmodes in vacuum. Hydroelasticity problem solving was obtained by making use of singular integral equations and a finite element method. A numerical analysis was carried out |

Abstract | Full Text |
Abstract :Wind is one of the renewable energy resource, as it is clean energy and less in maintenance, it is alluring many researchers to work on it, but the wind is time varying in nature. It is essential to predict the wind speed for effective and efficient planning of the load demand. Forecasting is an important aid in wind speed prediction. The wind speed forecasting can effectively reduce or avoid the adverse effect of wind farm on power grid and it will also ensure the safe and economic operations of the power system. |

Abstract :The popularity of smartphones, mobile electronic devices and many types of information appliances is driving the demand for touch screens. Our Embedded project is to design and develop a low cost feature which is based on embedded platform using ARM architecture. Generally touch screens accept the tapping method for typing the messages, typing methods for small touch screens is still worth studying.Smartphone users facing the difficulties for typing on small touchscreens and experiencing errors in typing the alphanumeric keys bacause of their thick thumbs.Small virtual keypad provides very tiny sizes of keys even with the redused set of keys. |

LOW COST SELF POWERED SAND ROVER SYSTEM FOR DESERT REGION SURVEILLANCE |
Author : K.Yokesh,S.Karthik,Y.M. Jagadeesh,Sathiendran R.K |
Abstract | Full Text |
Abstract :General land locomotives for surveillance systems are not highly efficient when compared to the sand locomotives because of slipping in sand. In loose sand the coherent force between two particles is very less thus making the system slip easily. Thus the rover should have contact up to some depth in the sand and now with that grip in it, it should move to the next step. Similarly the proposed sand rover system here has the capability to move in the loose sand of desert regions. It can also move as a normal vehicle which can be transformed
manually. A surveillance system is placed in it along with a solar panel for supply. It is controlled through wireless DTMF (dual tone multiple frequency) system. This method is efficient in all terrains in for the purpose of surveillance |

Abstract | Full Text |
Abstract :Enteric fever is an important public health problem in developing countries like India. Antibiotics are still the main stay in the treatment of enteric fever, but enteric fever Salmonellae have developed drug resistance and this has further hampered the process of reducing the mortality &
morbidity associated with this disease. Materials & Methods: Phenotypically & serologically confirmed enteric fever Salmonellae were subjected for antimicrobial susceptibility testing by Kirby Bauer disc diffusion testing & MIC of the Salmonellae were detected using Agar dilution, E test & Hi
comb. Results: 8.46% of samples received for blood culture yielded the growth of enteric fever Salmonellae, 29 S.Paratyphi A & 25 S.Typhi were isolated. Male to female ratio was 3:1, more commonly isolated in the first 3 decades. Seasonal variation was observed with majority of them isolated between July to September. |

Abstract :Wireless Sensor Networks (WSNs) have been generally considered as a standout amongst the most critical innovations for the twenty-first century. A Wireless sensor organize is a Wireless system comprising of spatially dispersed self-sufficient gadgets to screen physical or natural conditions. WSN (Wireless Sensor arrange) is a sort of self-association organize framework which comprises countless sensor hubs. These sensor hubs are regularly little in size with inbuilt small scale controllers and radio handsets. These gadgets are portrayed by a specific detecting capacity |

Abstract :India is a poor country and its economy is a developing economy. Here there are lot of problems which has to be faced and solved and amongst all the major problems unemployment is the biggest problem which s hindering the growth of the country. Our agriculture and industries at
present are not capable of absorbing all unemployed persons. Unemployment has been increasing
like an epidemic and the solution lies only in the development of cottage and small scale industries
These are those industries which uses power, employ modem techniques, scatter to a wider market
and employs large no. of people. They play an important role in the economy as they are labour
intensive and create job opportunities. |

Abstract :The usage of a Genetic calculation in the symmetric square figure Advanced Encryption Standard - 128 (AES128) calculations to improve the exhibition of cryptographic tasks. The genetic calculation is utilized for creating the best fit non-dreary figure key and for key dissemination to plan a powerful Substitution confine AES-128. The examination uncovers that the productivity of the cryptographic calculation treated with the Genetic calculation is subject to the varieties in the number of ages and introductory populace size. The outcome demonstrates that the ideal populace size has less encryption and decoding time. Among the example
populace size taken for the investigation |

studies a new typing methods Drag-and-Type and Secure Drag-and-Type. In the Drag-and-Type method uses
the dragging action for typing the messages instead of direct tapping on the small touch screens. The Secure
Drag-and-Type metod is used for secure password entry against shoulder surfing and spyware attacks in the
normal tapping methods. The typing speed is controversial, but Drag-and-Type method used when the accurate
typing is required. Here we are using the GSM modem to transfer the messages to any number. This method is
proposed for improved performance, accurate and secure password entry on the small touch screens for

EVALUATION OF CPU SCHEDULING ALGORITHM WITH GENETIC APPROACH |
Author : Er. Amit Gupta |
Abstract | Full Text |
Abstract :There are many factors that affecting the efficiency of data processing systems. Understanding the
operating system performance is a big issue. Operating system performance issues commonly involve
process management, memory management, and scheduling. In computer System, Processor
scheduling divides a computer processors work between multiple programs so that it is continually
switching from one opened application to another. This gives the appearance that the computer is
running a number of different programs simultaneously as the whole process are very fast. Our study
is an effort to develop an algorithm (genetic algorithm based) for obtaining optimal solution or near
to optimal schedules for CPU Scheduling Problems with minimum computation effort even for large
sized problems. Genetic algorithms belong to the larger class of evolutionary algorithms (EA), which
generate solutions to optimization problems using techniques inspired by natural evolution, such as
inheritance, mutation, selection, and crossover. In this paper we compare the result of average
waiting time of general algorithms with the genetic algorithm. |

isolates were resistant to Nalidixic acid. MIC values of all isolates were in susceptible range but with
increasing values. Conclusion: Enteric fever continues to be a major public health problem around
Mysore. Paratyphoid fevers which were rarely detected previously have now emerged on par to more
commonly susceptible. Ciprofloxacin resistance is not very common in this region. |

Shape memory alloys are metals, which exhibit two very unique properties, shape memory effect and the pseudoelasticity. All that shape memory alloys need, to provide actuation force is high temperature to heat them and low temperature to cool. The solar radiation available on moon can be directly used to heat shape memory alloys. Since there is no atmosphere and also no heat source other than the Sun the temperature under the shade on the moon is low. Exploiting this, a prototype has been constructed and tested in earth environment |
