VERIFICATION OF REDUCED METHANE KINETIC MECHANISM UNDER LAMINAR CONDITIONS USING A LOW DIMENSIONAL MODELING APPROACH |
Author : Naveen Punati |
Abstract | Full Text |
Abstract :Reduced/Skeletal kinetic mechanisms are of great interest to the research community, as these mechanism reduce the computational cost significantly. The study presented here considered a reduced kinetic mechanism under laminar flow conditions and resolves the full range length and time scales by solving governing equations for mass, momentum and energy. The reduced mechanism published in the literature is derived from
the original GRI mechanism of methane gas and the simulations are performed with both original and reduced order mechanisms |

IMPROVING SOFTWARE QUALITY THROUGH EFFECTIVE SOFTWARE TESTING |
Author : B.Saravanan, Dr. C.S.Ravichandran |
Abstract | Full Text |
Abstract :In a typical Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), Software testing phase is one of the important and critical phase. This is why because; the quality of the software is decided based on the amount of errors we find in the software testing phase. The more amount of error we find in the testing phase will bring good
quality product. The fewer amounts of errors we find will bring quality degradation in the end product. Even though, many categories of testing available, regression testing are one of the most critical activities of software development and maintenance. |

A NOVEL BIOMETRIC RECOGNITION USING SCLERA VEIN AND FINGER VEIN FUSION |
Author : Dharisanapriya.R, Rukumani khandhan.C |
Abstract | Full Text |
Abstract :Biometric recognition techniques are mainly used for human identification and authentication. A comprehensive approach for multi biometric recognition is designed by fusion of finger vein and
sclera vein. Sclera vein and finger vein is a new parallel vein recognition method using a two-stage parallel approach for registration and matching. The proposed method can achieve dramatic processing speed improvement without compromising the recognition accuracy. The proposed approach combines
finger vein approach and sclera vein approach. |

DIFFERENT TEXTURE CLASSIFICATION AND AGE PREDICTION OF FACE IMAGES USING PEANOCOUNT DECISION CLASSIFIER |
Author : Basava Raju. K, Dr. Y. RamaDevi, Dr. P. V. Kumar |
Abstract | Full Text |
Abstract :Recognition of skin is used in many applications ranging from algorithms for predicting age , face detection, gender classification, and to objectionable image filtering. These data collections are growing rapidly and can therefore be considered as spatial data streams. Time is a major issue for data stream classification,. However, these spatial data sets are too large to be classified effectively in a reasonable amount of time using existing methods. In this work a novel and computational fast algorithm is proposed for predicting age of humans with PeanoCountTree (P-Tree). The predicting system was developed and tested based on texture features extracted local gradient patterns (LGP) and gray level co-occurrence matrix (GLMC) to give better and more predicting accuracy with a range of time period |

SOLVING THE K(2,2) EQUATION BY MEANS OF THE Q-HOMOTOPY ANALYSIS METHOD (Q-HAM) |
Author : Shaheed N. Huseen |
Abstract | Full Text |
Abstract :By means of the q-homotopy analysis method (q-HAM), the solution of the K(2,2) equation was obtained in this paper. Comparison of q- HAM with the Homotopy analysis method (HAM) and the Homotopy perturbation method (HPM) are made, The results reveal that the q-HAM has more accuracy than the
others.

ENERGY-EFFICIENT COOPERATIVE MEDIA STREAMING OVER WLANS |
Author : J.T Anita Rose, D. Frederick Swartz Daniel, Dr. A. Chandrasekar |
Abstract | Full Text |
Abstract :In wireless local area networks (WLANs), Energy-Efficient Media streaming, in particular, is a promising technology for providing services such as news clips, live sports.Toavoid service interruption when the node switching to low-power sleep mode to save energy, proper scheduling and data management strategies must be employed. However, if sleep time is not properly scheduled, significant delays can occur, which is undesirable in delay-constrained applications. In this paper, we propose an energy-efficient cooperativemedia streaming where access point transcode the transport stream to minimize the energy usage of mobile nod |

ANALOGY BETWEEN THE THERMAL CONDUCTIVITY AND ELECTRICAL CONDUCTIVITY FOR COMMON LIQUIDS |
Author : vinay Atgur, Suresh B, Manavendra G |
Abstract | Full Text |
Abstract : In the present scenario there is a huge demand for new advanced liquids with improved thermal properties like thermal conductivity for broad ranges of heat transfer applications. The present work describes the analogy of the liquids thermal conductivity and electrical conductivity data measured by using guarded hot plate method which is a steady state method and conductivity meter a transient method. Experiment is carried out for different low viscous samples like normal water, distilled water and it is observed that thermal conductivity increases as temperature increases same trend is observed for electrical conductivity
