An Exploratory Study of Fashion Blogs Using Nethnogrophy | Author : Yingying Wu | Abstract | Full Text | Abstract :Since the world has been evolving from a producer-driven world into a consumer-driven world,
consumer research is a critical issue in product development and marketing. It is difficult to identify, create, or
educate a group of consumers. Since consumers have a tendency of self-affirmation, even though they may be
attracted to a variety of topics aroused around them, it does not mean they are paying attention. Therefore,
consumer research based on traditional fashion media has been challenged. The aim of this paper is to identify
consumers’ interests in fashion-related topics, and to understand consumers’ needs and to provide less-biased
information to the fashion industry by examining corporate fashion blogs. It was found that identifying potential
customers through background research and studying what they want is critical. In other words, instead of
selling people what they want to sell; asking consumers what they want to buy is a much wiser idea.

| Neutrino Telescope: News | Author : O. B. Khavroshkin, ,V. V. Tsyplakov | Abstract | Full Text | Abstract :A brief review is given of the existing methods and devices currently used for recording
astrophysical mostly solar neutrinos. These structures, as a rule, have significant, often cyclopean dimensions,
insignificant sensitivity and difficulties in determining the direction to the neutrino source. New types of neutrino
telescope are described, which are based on the physical effect of anomalous neutrino radioisotope (ANRI)
absorption. One type has a high sensitivity, small dimensions, low cost, but also how all existing ones determine
the direction of neutrino arrival through the interaction tracks. The other type of telescope, while maintaining
these advantages, points to a neutrino source similarly to an optical one - by the direction of the axis of the design
structure not on the neutrino interaction tracks, but on their source. The results of a successful test of the current
layout are given. |
| “Ict Usage and Perception of Higher Education Teachers” | Author : T.Vinila | Abstract | Full Text | Abstract :Global developments in education and challenging ICT demands have made a remarkable shift
in the structure of the enabling ICT environment and the utilization of ICT technologies in education. Such
technologies have become the key force of the digital network in an era of technology-driven education. More
schools and communities now have access to ICT resources to join the global economy with knowledge workers
who have 21st century skills and are inspired by life-long learning. ICTs have great potential for knowledge
dissemination, effective learning, and the development of more efficient educational services. Moreover, the
adoption of ICT by education has been seen as a powerful way to contribute to educational change, better
prepare students for the information age, improve learning outcomes and competencies of learners, and equip
students with survival skills for the information society. ICTs greatly facilitate the acquisition and absorption of
knowledge, offering developing countries unprecedented opportunities to enhance educational systems, improve
policy formulation and execution, and widen the range of opportunities for business and the poor. One of the
greatest hardships endured by the poor, and by many others who live in the poorest countries, is their sense of
isolation. The new communications technologies promise to reduce that sense of isolation, and to open access to
knowledge in ways unimaginable not long ago. ICTs can enhance the quality of education in several ways: by
increasing learner motivation and engagement, by facilitating the acquisition of basic skills, and by enhancing
teacher training. ICTs are also transformational tools which, when used appropriately, can promote the shift to
a learner-centered environment |
| The business model of development of biogas technology market in Poland: opportunities and threats | Author : Marcin Kesy | Abstract | Full Text | Abstract :Due to the requirements of the EU in increasing the share of energy generated from renewable
sources to 15% (3 x 15%) in traditional energy production technology based on fossil fuels combustion in Poland,
it is observed a clear trend in the development of renewable energy technologies. Renewable energy market offers
a variety of technologies for generation of energy from RES. Scientific evidence indicate that in the near future,
a/m sources will be the dominant in energy production. The research is focused on more efficient energy
production technologies, cost-effectiveness, minimization energy losses and increase the reliability of the designed
engineering systems. The biomass conversion and biogas production is a major source of the "green energy"
production in Poland. Planned activities and their application in order to build the biogas plants, despite
treatment as the priority goal, at the start implementation phase went through a crisis due to the unstable market
causing unprofitable for this type of investment and the possibility of bankruptcy for the newly |

| Comparison of Various Frequency Distributions (Chindwin Basin), Myanmar | Author : Mi Yin San , Zin Zin Zaw | Abstract | Full Text | Abstract :In this paper, computed flood values obtained by frequency analysis for each station in the
selected basin are compared with the values by HEC statistical software package whether or not to be reliable.
Flood frequency analysis refers to the application of frequency analysis to study the occurrence of floods. Using
the annual flood peak data series of three hydrological stations in Chindwin basin, the various probability
distributions are analyzed with four methods such as Normal, Log-Normal, Pearson Type-III and Log-Pearson
Type III. Chi-square and Kolmogorov-Smirnov (K-S) tests, the most commonly used tests of goodness of fit, are
applied to check the fit of probability distribution used in this study. Standard errors are also calculated for
each kind of probability distributions. Based on standard errors and reliability of analysis, it can be concluded
that Pearson type III distribution function is the most appropriate distributions for the area under study. |
| The Impact of Financial Crisis and Trade Relevance on the Market Reactions in Taiwan’s Financial Industry | Author : Bi-Huei Tsai | Abstract | Full Text | Abstract :Previous literature seldom investigates whether financial crisis events or events caused
by trade-related countries have great impact on stock returns. However, the event characteristics and
occurrence areas are critical of financial contagion effect. For these reasons, this study investigates
market response of international events from 2008 to 2016 to confirm the financial contagion theory by
examining the stock returns of Taiwan’s financial industry. We examine whether financial crisis causes
greater market response of Taiwan’s financial industry than non-financial crisis event since Taiwan’s
financial industry invest in foreign funds or stocks. This study uses event study method to observe the
abnormal returns on the event day. We further use analysis of variance (ANOVA) to compare the impact
of financial crisis events on stock returns with the impact of non-financial crisis events on stock returns
in Taiwanese listed financial industry. In addition, we compare the market response between events
occurred in countries that have high trade relevance to Taiwan and countries that have little association
with Taiwan. The results show that Taiwan financial industry had significantly abnormal returns when
international financial crisis events happened. A price co-movement in other market causes a shock in
Taiwan’s stock market. Furthermore, ANOVA analysis results show that impact of international
financial crisis events is larger than that of international non-financial crisis events in Taiwan’s
financial industry, which proves financial contagion theory. Moreover, market response to the events
occurred in Taiwan’s trade related centuries, U.S. and Japan, is larger than the events occurred in
other countries that contain low relevance to Taiwan |
