| Design and Optimization of 0.5 Ton Hr Foundry Cupola Furnace Operations | Author : Moses C. Uzochukwukanma | Fredrick O. Okeagu | Richard U. Orji | Abstract | Full Text | Abstract :The work in this research comprises of the design processes and the optimization of cupola furnace operation fundamentals. The cupola furnace actually comprises of the structural components and the different zones in the working of the system. The structural components are the shell, foundation, tuyere’s, wind belt box, blower, tapping spout, charging door and chimney or stack. The zones of interest in cupola furnace are the stack zone, preheating zone, melting zone, reducing zone, combustion zone and the hearth or crucible zone. In these cupola zones are the optimization considerations. The design processes consider the appropriate shapes and dimensions of the cupola furnace premium effective furnace diameter, 300mm effective height in melting, 1000mm total height, 2100mm charge mass, 500kg. In optimizing the operation of the cupola, the blower capacity of 10 kW, 3 phase running at maximum speed at about 2900 rpm tends to produce sufficient air pressure of 0.00345N mm2 and volume of air, 96.8m2 min. to combust and suspend the charge for efficient heating and melting. It requires 112Kg of fuel charcoal to melt 500Kg of Cast Iron metal. The volume 5807 m3 of air per ton per hr and 12kg of air to 1kg of fuel charcoal are sufficient enough for complete combustion per heat of the cupola operation. Intensive air force in the system pulverizes the entire charge materials for complete combustion and a good furnace operation at tuyeres’. This enhances the melting rate and increase in tapping temperatures for cast iron metal it is in the range 1320oC to 1370oC. The optical pyrometer is used to measure the temperatures. The quantity of heat required to make a heat of 500kg is about362539.8 kJ hr or kW. The efficiency of the furnace is 92.3 . Moses C. Uzochukwukanma | Fredrick O. Okeagu | Richard U. Smart contracts automate agreements between stakeholders, reducing administrative complexities and ensuring adherence to predefined conditions in energy transactions and agricultural practices. The transparent and traceable nature of blockchain is applied to supply chain management in Agrovoltaics, providing end to end visibility from planting to distribution. This not only enhances traceability but also ensures the authenticity and quality of agricultural products. Tokenization of assets, such as energy output or agricultural yield, introduces novel financial avenues, promoting financial inclusion and enabling diversified investment in agricultural projects. Environmental and social impact considerations are addressed through blockchain enabled applications, including tracking carbon credits and incentivizing sustainable farming practices. The tamper proof ledger of blockchain ensures data security, granting farmers control over their information and fostering trust among stakeholders. While these applications showcase the immense potential of integrating blockchain with Agrovoltaics, challenges such as technical integration, regulatory compliance, and widespread adoption remain. Collaborative efforts among farmers, energy providers, policymakers, and technology experts are crucial to overcoming these challenges and unlocking the full transformative potential of this integration. This paper concludes by emphasizing the ongoing research, pilot projects, and international interest in Agrovoltaics as indicators of its scalability and global impact. As the field continues to evolve, it is essential to navigate challenges collectively, promote awareness, and facilitate the integration of blockchain technology as a catalyst for sustainable agriculture and clean energy. | Nigeria, Corruption and Bad Leadership | Author : Paul A. Adekunte | Matthew N. O. Sadiku | Janet O. Sadiku | Abstract | Full Text | Abstract :Nigeria, since its independence in October 1960 is still battling with myriad of problems among which are corruption and bad leadership. Nigeria was under the British colonial rule of Lord Frederick Lugard who was the governor of both the Northern and Southern Protectorates from January 1, 1914 until independence in 1960. It is saddening to note that over 104 years after amalgamation, the country is still grappling with national identity, insecurity, corruption. and bad leadership, which has led us to where we are now, as a third world country or developing country. When things are working well in a country, it is because the leaders are doing what is right. Everything rests on the leaders, and to think otherwise is to think amiss, because leaders determine and provide the direction others should go and the speed at which they move. Corruption will thrive and take root in a country where the leadership is corrupt, while on the other hand, uprightness will take root in a country where the leadership celebrates uprightness. Therefore, it is trite knowledge that whatever the leadership encourages grows while what it frowns at declines. This is just the plain or absolute truth. Paul A. Adekunte | Matthew N. O. | Study of Software Defect Prediction using Forward Pass RNN with Hyperbolic Tangent Function | Author : Swati Rai | Dr. Kirti Jain | Abstract | Full Text | Abstract :For the IT sector and software specialists, software failure prediction and proneness have long been seen as crucial issues. Conventional methods need prior knowledge of errors or malfunctioning modules in order to identify software flaws inside an application. By using machine learning approaches, automated software fault recovery models allow the program to substantially forecast and recover from software problems. This feature helps the program operate more efficiently and lowers errors, time, and expense. Using machine learning methods, a software fault prediction development model was presented, which might allow the program to continue working on its intended mission. Additionally, we assessed the models performance using a variety of optimization assessment benchmarks, including accuracy, f1 measure, precision, recall, and specificity. Convolutional neural networks and its hyperbolic tangent functions are the basis of the deep learning prediction model FPRNN HTF Forward Pass RNN with Hyperbolic Tangent Function technique. The assessment procedure demonstrated the high accuracy rate and effective application of CNN algorithms. Moreover, a comparative measure is used to evaluate the suggested prediction model against other methodologies. The gathered data demonstrated the superior performance of the FPRNN HTF technique. According to CBS classification it belongs to class II i.e. low solubility and high permeability. High volume of distribution coupled with high lipophilicity is the unique feature of angiotensin II receptor blocker, it offers the clinical advantage of good tissue penetration. It particularly blocks the angiotensin II receptor without blocking other receptors which are involved in cardiovascular regulation. According to recent data telmisartan 80mg controls early morning blood pressure more effectively than ramipril 5 10mg and has greater effect over cardiovascular risk. It is also more effective than losartan and in addition, angiotensin II blocker provides superior blood pressure control after a missed dose compared with valsartan 80mg. | Understanding the Language Learning A Grounded Theory Perspective | Author : Dr. Anibel A. Lamo | Abstract | Full Text | Abstract :The study aimed to understand the language learning in the perspective of Krashen’s SLA Theory and Bandura’s Social Learning Theory as applied in classroom setting. It was bound to develop a language learning model grounded on a theory. The research is a grounded theory design. Classroom activities were conducted casually with themes intended for inquiry and data gathering in form of observation, interview and documentation anchored on Language learning acquisition, Monitor, Natural Order, Input and Affective filter hypotheses, together with the Social Learning Theory of Albert Bandura. All of the five language learning hypotheses of Krashen were affirmed true to the learning experience of the participants. The Social Learning theory of Albert Bandura was also proven to be true as to the participants’ language learning phenomena. It was found that language learners were not given opportunities to connect informal learning and formal learning. Their preferred learning style in the input was not, considered. Learners need social, active and concrete language models to look up.This study has generated theories such as Language learning and language acquisition can come separately and independently Preferred learning styles in the input is causative of positive learning output Physically active language models stimulate attention and imitation. To fill the gaps found in the three generated theories become the grounds to support a developed language learning model called Social, Active and Concrete Language Learning Model SAC LaLeMo The conclusions recommend for informal and informal learning attributes to be connected. Social Media learning attributes maybe provided to consider preferred language learning styles of students in the input. Social Media and other learning modalities may present active and concrete language models for students to imitate. Other researchers may consider the SAC LaLeMo to be validated. Dr. Anibel A. | Friedrich Wilhelm August Froebel and His Idea of Kindergarten Education A Historical Appraisal | Author : Shibsankar Jana | Abstract | Full Text | Abstract :Philosophy is the essence of the world animals, objects, and all thoughts are composed of a single, indivisible formula. The goal of education is to realize the unity of joyous self activity and self development. The present education system could give proper direction to the youth. It may provide all round development to the youth rather, they grow themselves self reliant. At the present time, the examiners have had tremendous success in different examinations and have earned names and fame simultaneously. Most of them failed to establish self development in kindergarten, and life faces challenges against it even though they obtained the highest marks in primary education or higher education at universities and colleges. It is urgent for everyone to rise from this critical situation. Froebel initiated kindergarten education, a pre school education approach through which the features of education for children would be predicted. Kindergarten education is an indispensable part for children. Structural and social balance are badly affected. It is the widest range of medical therapy for children in the world, but in India, its results are severely hampered. The idea of kindergarten education may have been changed in the so called Indian education system, but it has to lead to a revolutionary change in social background. To think, focus, and understand froebel kindergarten education, so many books have been evaluated and written depending on the principles. There are so many silent characterized Froebel’s in kindergarten education. The present education system has been discussed and compared with Froebels kindergarten education. Finally, it can be said that Froebel truly identifies human society and helps to develop personality in the environment, and the paper is trying to explore it in a qualitative way. | Analysis of Stress and Deflection of Spur Gear by Using New Analytical Method Based on Taguchi Method and Finite Element Analysis | Author : Khin Khin Thant | Than Than Htike | Abstract | Full Text | Abstract :One of the most important measures of transmission performance is the gear tooth root stress TRS . High root stress can directly damage the gear tooth and indirectly affect the life of the gear. This paper considered reducing the stresses in the base of the change in the gear profile. Accurate calculation of the maximum tooth root stress TRS and deflection is fundamental to the prediction and optimization of gears. The Finite Element Method FEM gives accurate results. But, the calculation requires a lot of resources and time. Moreover, the results obtained from the Lewis, the ISO, and the AGMA methods were useful. This paper approved the results of the new method as useful as other methods. Therefore, in the current results, a new analytical method based on mechanic theory is created using exact profile equations to calculate stress and deflection. Firstly, the load sharing ratio is considered using the Taguchi method. Finally, tooth root stress and deflection are calculated from this profile. The result of tooth root stress obtained from the new method is compared with the FEM method. The result of the new method is found the consistent with FEM method. | Influence of Loyalty Card Programs on Customer Satisfaction and Engagement in the Retail Industry of Colombo District | Author : R. K. M Lankanath | Abstract | Full Text | Abstract :The retail industry in Sri Lanka is marked by fierce rivalry, with significant progress observed in the last ten years. This development is ascribed to changes in consumer lives, which are progressively shaped by Western influences. Due to intense competition, supermarkets must focus on customer acquisition and retention methods to improve their market share. Even with the efficacy of acquisition campaigns, prominent supermarket chains admit that previously recruited customers are transitioning to rival companies. In order to gain a competitive advantage, supermarket chains should give high priority to implementing efficient customer retention programs, such as loyalty programs, that have a substantial impact on the overall operation of the firm. Nevertheless, reward systems in supermarkets frequently fail to provide the expected advantages due to intrinsic limitations that discourage customer engagement, arising from widespread discontent with loyalty programs. This study aims to determine the variables that impact customer satisfaction with loyalty programs in the grocery sector. Based on a thorough examination of the literature, four crucial elements—Anticipated Benefits, Privacy Concerns, Variety Seeking, and Customer Involvement and Commitment—were important factors influencing customer engagement in loyalty programs. The study examines Keells, Cargills, Arpico, and Laugfs shoppers with various loyalty cards. The population under consideration for this study comprises all individuals residing in the Colombo district participating in supermarket transactions. The studys findings clarify the effect of loyalty card programs customer retention and engagement elements on total customer satisfaction, highlighting the significant influence of these aspects on consumer contentment. | Role of Good Governance, and Education in the Development of Entrepreneurship in Ghana A Literature Review | Author : Dr. Hasan Ahmed | Abstract | Full Text | Abstract :In the 21st century, rapid changes are affecting all fields of endeavor, especially enterprises, because of high customer expectations, global competitive pressure, technological advancement, and globalization. Ghana’s entrepreneurs have lack of financial management knowledge. Only 17 know about financial literature, and this is true for both educated and uneducated entrepreneurs. Ghana’s micro, small, and medium enterprises MSMEs and SMEs experience difficulties because of a lack of integration into the mainstream economy. Unlike many other developing countries, Ghana’s small business entrepreneurs are facing mounting challenges to grow. Ghana’s international perspective is little known, and not much literature has explained what factors affect Ghana’s entrepreneurs in expanding global markets. Studies showed that there is no increase in globalization and Multination Corporation MNC activity, perhaps because of the relative lack of entrepreneurship in low GDP countries like Ghana. Entrepreneurship focuses on how people use skills, innovation power, and risk taking behaviors to create new ventures. The scholarly articles reviewed issues relating to why Ghana’s entrepreneurship growth has been hampered despite having entrepreneurship policies. Understanding the paradigm of entrepreneurship structure may help Ghana to shore up employment, reduce crime, and increase living standards. One needs to examine factors like lack of good governance and poor education system more closely to fill the gap represented by the non existence in the literature of a cogent explanation of how these factors may have cut Ghana off from entrepreneurship growth. Using quantitative survey data can help draw general conclusions from research findings. | Clinical Treatment of Ovarian Cancer First Line Chemotherapy or Targeted Therapy for Recurrent Cases | Author : Takuma Hayashi | Ikuo Konishi | Abstract | Full Text | Abstract :Ovarian cancer is the seventh most common gynecological cancer worldwide, ovarian cancer is the eighth leading cause of cancer death in women. In recent years, the number of ovarian cancer cases has been increasing in Japan, more than 9,000 women are diagnosed with ovarian cancer each year. The 5 year survival rate is 58 , the lowest among gynecological cancers, 4,758 ovarian cancer deaths in 2012. That is, it is reported that about one in two ovarian cancer patients has died. Because it is difficult to cure recurrent ovarian cancer, treatment is used to prolong life and improve quality of life. Because polyadenosine 5 diphosphate ribose polymerase PARP inhibitors are oral targeted drugs that specifically act on cancer cells, they are expected to reduce the risk of disease progression and death while maintaining a good safety profile. In this way, the development of oral preparations has made it possible to avoid the burden on patients such as pain caused by conventional injections and the time constraints required for infusion. In this review, we discuss new treatments for ovarian cancer. A control group and a quasi experimental design were adopted for this study. Purposive sampling techniques were applied to select a sample of 320 students drawn from two secondary schools in which intact classes were used. The Quadratic and Simultaneous Equations Achievement Test QSEAT was developed with a reliability coefficient value of 0.82, and used as the research instrument. An analysis of covariance ANCOVA was used to test the hypotheses. All the hypotheses were tested at the 0.05 level of significance. Results showed that there was a statistically significant main effect of treatment on students’ achievement in Quadratic and Simultaneous equations. There was a statistically significant effect of blended learning BL on students’ achievement in Quadratic and Simultaneous equations. There was a statistically significant interaction effect of treatment control and experimental BL on students’ achievement in Quadratic and Simultaneous equations. The findings of the study revealed that the student’s achievement in Quadratic and Simultaneous equations was enhanced more when BL strategies were used than when TLM was used. Based on the findings of this study, it was therefore recommended that efforts be made to integrate the philosophy of BL into the preservice teachers’ curriculum at the teacher preparation institutions in Nigeria. | Review on “Formulation and Evaluation of Herbal Shaving Cream” | Author : Shruti Pawar | Mohsin Shaikh | Abstract | Full Text | Abstract :The preparations known as herbal cosmetics are cosmetics that contain active, bioactive substances or medications. Utilising phytochemicals from a range of botanicals has two purposes on the one hand, they are used as cosmetics to take care of the body and its components, and on the other hand, the botanical compounds have an impact on the biological activities of the skin and supply the nutrients required for maintaining healthy skin and hair. Different vitamins, antioxidants, oils, essential oils, colours, tannins, alkaloids, carbohydrates, proteins, terpenoids, and other bioactive compounds are generally found in botanicals. These are also administered topically and are thought to be superior than cosmetics. The personal care industry is currently focusing more on herbal based cosmetics since this is a rapidly expanding market with enormous potential for growth in the years to come. Herbal cosmetics are not covered by the Food and Drug Administrations preview of drugs and regulations. Similar to cosmetics, they are governed by the laws that are in place in the various nations for their safety. In general, a manufacturer is not required to state how bioactive substances permeate the skin or that they have therapeutic or drug like effects. The present review article focuses on formulation and evaluation of herbal shaving cream. | A Study of the Impact of Public Goods Provision on Economic Growth A Perspective Based on Literature Review | Author : Chao Qun Meng | Xiao Hu Dong | Abstract | Full Text | Abstract :Since reform and opening up, the growth rate of Chinas public expenditure has exceeded the GDP growth rate. In the 20 National Congress , it is clearly pointed out that to strengthen socialist construction, we should focus on ensuring and improving peoples livelihood, and vigorously increase infrastructure construction such as education, health care and culture. All these phenomena show that the government has increased its investment in the supply of public goods, but the social voice and academic research are still focused on the problem of insufficient supply of public goods. On the one hand, the rapid growth of government expenditure, on the other hand, is the severe criticism of the insufficient supply of public goods. The real reason for this phenomenon is the regional difference in the supply of public goods. Therefore, studying the relationship between public goods supply differences and economic growth and convergence in various regions of our country has important theoretical and practical significance to solve the problem of public goods supply in our countrys economic growth and narrow the regional development gap. This paper reviews relevant literature from the two aspects of theoretical research on public goods and the correlation between the supply of public goods and economic growth, and explores that the supply of public goods can better grasp the context of economic development, timely explore new models of economic development, and provide continuous driving force for sustainable and healthy economic growth. Himabindu | Abstract | Full Text | Abstract :The gut microbiome is a contributory factor in ageing related health loss and in several non communicable diseases in all age groups. Some age linked and disease linked compositional and functional changes overlap, while others are distinct. The gut microbiota undergoes extensive changes across the lifespan, and age related processes may influence the gut microbiota and its related metabolic alterations. The aim of this systematic review was to summarize the current literature on aging associated alterations in diversity, composition, and functional features of the gut microbiota. Longevity is one of the most complex phenotypes, and its genetic basis remains unclear. This study aimed to explore the genetic correlation and potential causal association between gut microbiota and longevity. Human longevity has a strong familial and genetic component. Dynamic characteristics of the gut microbiome during aging associated with longevity, neural, and immune function remained unknown. Here, we aim to reveal the synergistic changes in gut microbiome associated with decline in neural and immune system with aging and further obtain insights into the establishment of microbiome homeostasis that can benefit human longevity. In this paper we will discuss The Gut Microbiome, Aging and Longevity an Overview. Dr. G. Renuka | K. Vaishnavi | L. Vijayalaxmi | P. Srihitha | R. | An Evolutionary Game Study of Recycling Strategies for Used Cell Phones Under Government Intervention | Author : Jianfen Zhou | Abstract | Full Text | Abstract :Mobile phones are fast changing and highly popularized, with high carbon emissions, and have both economic and environmental attributes. Increasing the amount of used cell phones recycled and recycling them effectively has become an urgent challenge to be solved. In order to explore the strategic choices of each participant involved in recycling, this paper constructs an evolutionary game model of local government, recycling enterprises and consumers, analyzes the stability of the strategic choices of each game subject, and further analyzes the stability of the equilibrium point in the tripartite game system using Jacobi matrix. Finally, simulation analysis is carried out to discuss the influence of key parameters on the evolution of the participants behavior. The results of the study show that 1 the implementation of government subsidies can incentivize enterprises to increase the rate of active recycling, but there is an upper limit to the subsidies, otherwise the government will take a non regulatory strategy 2 the probability of the government to achieve the strength of the penalty directly affects the strategic choice of recycling enterprises, when the penalty coefficient is less than 0.5,recycling enterprises for the governments penalties are not sensitive to continue to maintain the initial strategic choice 3 recycling enterprises to increase the probability of the The probability of consumer subsidies can motivate consumers to participate in recycling, with the increase of subsidy incentives to increase the probability of active participation in the choice of consumers also increased, but the subsidy incentive can not exceed 12 this queer value, otherwise the enterprise will choose a negative recycling strategy 4 consumers themselves on the users privacy concerns are higher, recycling enterprises and consumers will be positive recycling and active participation in the direction of the evolution of the government can take a non regulatory strategy. can adopt a non regulatory strategy.
