Abstract :The research aimed to understand the relation between fasting and the anger regulation. Subject’s researchs were 100 students of UIN Sunan Gunung Djati Bandung taken by random sampling. Subjects consist of 43 man and 57 woman. This research used quantitative method. Data was collected by questionare, and method of analysis was Pearson’s correlation test. The result has shown there is relation between fasting and the anger regulation with scale of correlation was 54%. Subject that often fasting, carbohydrate input was lower so that the subject had high level of anger regulation.

Abstract :This research was focused to get an overview of tawakal and anxiety among students who taking courses of the Rorschach test practicum at the Psychology Faculty of UIN Sunan Gunung Jati Bandung. Data were collected from 32 students by using questionnaires of tawakal and anxiety. The tawakal questionnaire used instrument made by Prapti Ningsih, consist of 53 items. Level of anxiety assessed by the Penn State Woory Questionnaire (PSWQ) developed by Meyer, Miller, Metzger, and Borkovec, which consist of 16 items. The result has shown that 4 students have high scores in both tawakal and anxiety. 18 students with high of tawakal and moderate anxiety. 6 students with high in tawakal and low anxiety. A student with moderate in tawakal and high anxiety. 3 students with a moderate score in both tawakal and anxiety. |

Abstract :This study was aimed to capture the readiness to change of the “X” University as an organization regarding to the vision is becoming a world class university. Using the organizational change readiness concept by Sutanto (2008) that covering 7 aspects namely perception toward change, vision of change, mutual trust and respect, change initiative, management support, acceptance, and organization manages the change process. Respondent was 121 employees of the University „X? from two faculties who met the criterion. This was a quantitative research that using survey method. The result has shown that two aspects namely vision of change and acceptance were important ones that have effect on organizational change readiness of the “X” university. |

Abstract :In regard to scientific journals that based on the empirical studies has shown that the advancement of education in Indonesia is hampered that characterized by the low of students’ mastery in science and technology. It happened because of the low student engagement in learning activities (college engagement). Therefore, it needs to examine relationship between college engagement with academic achievement (GPA) as a reflection of the mastery of learning subject. The respondent were determined based on the quality GPA through proportionate stratified random sampling technique that gained as much as 317 students, from several departments in UIN SGD and UNISBA. The design used correlational research, where college engagement variable measured by Engaged Learning Index (ELI). Statistical test used rank Spearman correlation test. The result has show a high correlation between college engagement and GPA (0.866), and student participation in the learning process was the highest dimension (0.846) associated with GPA |

Abstract :This research was conducted as an evaluation on cooperative supervision by the principal in increasing teaching creativity at SMAN 1 Tolangohula in Gorontalo with research subject was 16 teachers. Based on the findings of the observation and data analysis a conclusion obtained that increasing of academic supervision by the principal through individualized counseling techniques has improved the quality of teaching creativity. Teacher should optimize their creativity in planning, learning implementation, and interpersonal relationships with students, because those types of creativity are very substantive elements in enhancing the teachers’ professionalism. |

Abstract :Spiritual quotient function transforming spiritual values such as honesty, affection, fairness, responsibility, peacefulness, trust, and togetherness. Developing Spiritual quotient aims to make students have full understanding about lesson of Islam and be able to apply it in daily life. Students hoped to be the one who believe in Allah SWT and actualize themselves based on lesson and norm in Islam with Islamic personality and akhlakul karimah. This research uses qualitative approach by having interview with subjects. Result shows that spiritual quotient development is carried through structural and unstructural programs. Structural programs applied in learning activity while unstructural ones done through extracuriculer activites. Methods of development are giving assignment, nurturing, transforming knowledge, having creative activity, making relationship having leadership. |

Abstract :This quantitative research was conducted on students in class X of SMA GB in Semarang. Subjects were students who become the participant of lecturer’s service program. The learners undergoing training to identify themselves and carry out training for their behavioral changes. The training result data was submitted to the counselor teacher for further treatment. Learners acquired self-image regarding: resilience, the advantages and disadvantages of their self, self-description of interpersonal behavior when interacting with the teacher. At the end of the study there is increasing recognition scores of self learners. The training participants reported some commitment and plan to change of their attitude which written in students’ diary.

Abstract :The value of work is a person’s belief associated with his/her life achievement. This study aimed to investigate the most value of work that emerged in every career stage. The numbers of respondents were 400 people taken by using random sampling technique. Methods of data analysis used a quantitative descriptive. The results were the dominant work value appeared at each career stages. Based on age category, below 30 years-old, the dominant value of work was comfort, age of 31 years-old up to 44 years-old was principles of altruism, over 45 years- old was the value of status, and at the age above 55 years-old was achievement. In regard to the position level, the dominant work values across the levels namely for Tamtama was comfort, for Bintara was altruism, Bintara Tinggi was achievement and autonomy, and for Perwira was achievement. |

Abstract :Personality term refer to a principal that unite biological and social aspects. Personality defined differently by each psychological perspective. Freud with his psychoanalysis defined personality by hierarchy that consists of id, ego, and super ego. Alfred Adler as individual psychology theorist considered personality as medium that arranged facts and transform it into a personal and unique personality formed by self creativity. Jung with his analytical psychology suggested that personality or psyche is a dynamic with continually movement. Each personalilty aspect is required to complete an optimal differentiation and development level to achieve a healthy and integrated personality. Behaviorism considered behavior as main factor in defining personality. The personality components that consistent is the behavior it self. Humanistic psychology views personality as a union between body and soul which construct a historical awareness on its existence that point on an authentic and individual behavioural pattern. |

Abstract :This paper explores engineering student’s readiness towards e-learning in Telkom University Bandung that developed e-learning system to complement its method. Some studies had indicated predictor behaviors for effective e-learning process were self-directed learning, technical readiness and comfort with non-face to face communication (Warner et al , 1998; Piskurich, 2003; Smith, 2005; Hung et al., 2010). Data gathered from 388 Telkom University engineering students (57% from sophomore year and 43% from junior year). Self-assessment method had been used to predict student readiness toward e-learning. Research found that Telkom University engineering student’s level of readiness was on ready with development, with technical readiness factor as the highest level and self-directed learning readiness as the lowest. The level of grade had no statistical differences on self-directed learning readiness and technical readiness factor but it had on comfort with non-face to face communication. |
