CONHECIMENTO DE CONSUMIDORES A RESPEITO DE DOENÇAS TRANSMITIDAS POR ALIMENTOS | Author : Auriane Morellato Ferrari, Rebeca Volkers Fonseca | Abstract | Full Text | Abstract :Foodborne Diseases (DTA) are caused by consuming contaminated water and food. Contamination can occur in any food handling environment if appropriate measures are not taken. However, the consumer can avoid the consumption of contaminated food if gets necessary information about food safety. Therefore, it requires investigate the knowledge of the population regarding the development of diseases by contaminated foods. The objective of the study was to analyze the knowledge of consumers about foodborne diseases caused by consumption outside their houses. 100 people were interviewed from 19 to 60 years of age, through a structured questionnaire. It was observed that 61% of people interviewed were female, and 92% had meals outside their houses. The frequency of meals outside home was once or twice a week and it was indicated by 41% of consumers. To highlight, 81% of thepeople interviewed reported understanding the meaning of the foodborne diseases. All things considered, despite the knowledge of consumers, it is possible to analyze that still exists, among consumers, gaps of information that pose a risk to eat safety. As it can be analyzed, consumers need to be informed about contamination to reduce outbreaks from foodborne diseases.

| EFEITOS DO EXTRATO DE LIMÃO NA PROTEÇÃO CONTRA DANOS EM ASFALTO CAUSADOS PELA ALTA TEMPERATURA | Author : Geovana Thiara Rodrigues de Lima, Lucas Força Mariani, Endrik Nardotto Rios, Orlando Chiarelli Neto | Abstract | Full Text | Abstract :The sun irradiation and temperature has caused damage to the asphalt structure and the addition of antioxidant componentes can be a protection strategy. The objective of this work was to investigate the protective effect of lemon extract in asphalt samples challenged at high temperatures by incubation in a greenhouse at 120 ° C. The sample were divided into A1 (extract 5%) and A2 (extract 3,33%), A3 (extract 1,67%) and A4 control (extract 0%) groups. Some were treated with Taiti lemon extract (Citrusaurantifolia) to verify termo-protection. Chemical and physical properties as well as compressive strength test (MPa) were performed, and the statistic was performed by the Origin 7.0 program, at p <0.05. The A3 group treated with 1.6% of extract showed compressive strength (15.25 MPa) 24% more than control group (12.31 MPa). The data indicate that 1.6% of lemon extract added to machined asphalt adds greater compressive strength (MPa) to samples subjected to high temperatures. |
| MODELO DINÂMICO X TRADICIONAL DE ANÁLISE DO CAPITAL DE GIRO: ANÁLISE FINANCEIRA DE DUAS EMPRESAS CAPIXABAS DE SETORES DIFERENTES | Author : Leonardo Da Silva Rangel, Fatima Ferreira, Angela Regina Binda da Silva de Jesus | Abstract | Full Text | Abstract :The research aimed to investigate the existence of significant differences between the results of Dynamic and Traditional Analysis of Working Capital of two Companies located in Espírito Santo state, Brazil, from different sectors in the period of 2008 to
2017. The research sample is composed of the companies: Fibria Celulose S.A and Vale S.A. Through the dynamic analysis of Michel Fleuriet, it was proved that companies with a bad financial situation had most of their indebtedness in the short term, harming their liquidity. Therefore, companies with an unsatisfactory financial situation presented great liquidity, concentrating most of their indebtedness in the long term, using only a portion of their loans in the short term. Companies with a solid financial situation, in its turn, use long-term sources to finance their working capital, with high liquidity. It was also possible to verify through the dynamic analysis model that the company Vale S.A. presented solid financial situation in all periods and by the traditional analysis presented an adequate working capital policy. It is also documented that the company Fibria Celulose SA, in 2017, presented an excellent financial situation and a zero-day cash conversion cycle, converging the results of the models again, showing that both the traditional working capital analysis model and the dynamic model indicated effective working capital management in the period, concluding that there is a significant relationship between the results of the Dynamic Model and the Traditional Model of Working Capital Analysis. |
| ATUAÇÃO DA ATENÇÃO PRIMÁRIA DO MUNICÍPIO DE COLATINA/ES FRENTE AO SURTO DE FEBRE AMARELA NO ANO DE 2017 | Author : José Ernesto Malta Mantovani, Fernanda Cristina de Abreu Quintela Castro, Kelly Cristina Mota Braga Chiepe | Abstract | Full Text | Abstract :From July 2017 to June 2018, 6,589 suspected wild yellow fever cases were reported in Brazil. Of these, 1,266 cases were confirmed, 1,232 were under investigation, 4,091 were discarded, and 415 deaths. Considering the described situation, and considering also the outbreak and progress of cases by the State of Espírito Santo, a scientific initiation research was made in order to verify and analyze the performance of Primary Health Care in the city of Colatina/ES, facing the outbreak of Yellow Fever in 2017. This research has an exploratory and descriptive character and a qualitative nature. The investigation was based on the speech of the participants involved in the study. Data collection took place through interviews with a semi-structured script, applied to the managers of the Family Health Strategy teams of the units that are included in the acting scenario of UNESC medical students. The consent form was signed by all participants after prior authorization from the Health Department and approval by the Ethics Committee (No. 2.395.675). At the end of the research, it was found that the participants had knowledge about yellow fever and its vaccination scheme, acting in the fight and control of the disease through immunization strategies and health promotion. It is important to emphasize that many participants do not recognize meetings and team discussion activities as capacitation course or training. However, these moments were of great value for the practice of permanent health education, as they generated qualification and establishment of strategies for coping with yellow fever in the city of Colatina / ES. |
