Abstract | Full Text |
Abstract :The effects of water/TiO2 Nano-fluid quenching media on microstructure and properties of CK35 steel were analyzed by optical microscopy, X-ray diffraction, Vickers hardness, and tensile tests. The results show that the microstructure of the CK35 steel sample quenched by water/TiO2 Nano-fluid and tempered are the mixture of tempered martensite and retained austenite with best mechanical properties. Whereas the microstructure of the CK35 steel sample quenched by water and tempered is mostly tempered martensite. |

Abstract | Full Text |
Abstract :Fatigue and fracture behavior of laser powder bed fusion (LPBF) processed aluminum alloy (AlSi10Mg) was evaluated in this investigation. High cycle fatigue and fracture characteristics were evaluated as a function of as-built specimen orientations and energy densities, used during processing. Fatigue tests were carried out on a rotating beam fatigue tester. Fracture characteristics were determined using SEM. Results indicate that aluminum alloy produced at 90° build angle orientation exhibited higher fatigue strength/life in comparison to the rest of build angle orientations. Higher fatigue strength and tensile toughness were observed for the specimens produced with relatively higher energy density at 49.9 J/mm3 . SEM investigations revealed ductile fracture surface features for specimens produced with higher energy density. |

Abstract | Full Text |
Abstract :Nucleophilic substitution and electrophilic of 4-Chloro-7-hydroxy-chromen-2-one are yielded compounds 4-(2,6-Dihydroxy –pyrimidin-4-ylamino )-2-oxo-2H-chromen -3-sulfonyl chloride (1a), {4-[Bis-(2-chloro-ethyl)-amino]-7-hydroxy-2-oxo-2H-chromen-3-yl}-phosphonic acid (2a), (3-Formyl-7-hydroxy-2-oxo-2H-chromen-4-yl)-dithiocarbamic acid(3a). Characterization synthetized chemical compounds was done by FTIR and NMR spectra and analysis of chemical composition of elements. Monitorization of antibacterial effect of synthesized compounds a,b,c was monitored at concentrations 2, 3, 5 mg/ml in three bacterial microorganism cultures: Staph. Aureus, E-coli and Bac. Cereus. The antibacterial activity of synthesized compound was compared to antibacterial activity of standard antibiotics cephalexine and streptomycin. |

A RESEARCH ON THE NEW TYPE SOLAR WATER HEATING TANK WITH ENERGY SAVING |
Author : Chun-Te LEE |
Abstract | Full Text |
Abstract :Taiwan is a country with quite adequate amount of sunlight; even at the northern highlands solar-powered water heater will still be usable. However, the first generation conventional storage water heater and the second generation improved storage water heater design are not an idea. When hot water is being used, the tank refills itself with cold water, and, thus, resulting in the decrease of water temperature inside tank. This will cause the heater to have an additional heating cycle, also to increase consumption of energy sources. As for the disadvantage of the second generation storage water heater, we have designed the third generation storage water heater, the smart solar water heating tank with a movable "partition disk" inside the tank, to improve and effectively resolve problem of mixing hot and cold water so that the hot water can be fully utilized. And the result is the usage of hot water being twice more efficient than the first generation conventional design, and 1.6 times more than the second generation improved design. |

THE APPLICATION KIT INCREASE TORQUE IN THE DIESEL ENGINE BY APPLIED IONIC ENERGY |
Author : Siseerot KETKAEW |
Abstract | Full Text |
Abstract :This research presents the application kit for increase torque in the diesel engine by applied ionic energy using high voltage power supply which relies on the principle of mini converter using the IC number SG3525 as the pulse signal generator and adjusting the duty cycle at 10 percent, 20 percent and 30 percent. By maintaining the switching frequency at 20 kHz to drive the power MOSFET number IRF710 to work to control the operation of the high frequency high voltage switching transformer#TLF4T98001 to obtain a high voltage voltage greater than or equal to 1 kVp, using a load cell as an electrode for changing other gases In the air is oxygen gas and then put into the air intake pipe well to increase the amount of oxygen which will make the combustion in the engine room better. The test result is when the duty cycle is increased will increase the high voltage and will increase the reaction in the electrolyte cells respectively which, when testing the torque measurements while connecting the electrodes will see that the duty cycle at 30 percent has the highest voltage which causes the highest reaction. Thus resulting in the highest amount of oxygen resulting in the highest torque of the engine compared to the torque of the engine that has not yet been connected to the electrodes |

A STUDY ON DEVELOPMENT OF EFFICIENT COLUMN DETECTION SYSTEM IN WASTEWATER TREATMENT OF THERMAL POWER PLANTS |
Author : Juhyeong KIL |
Abstract | Full Text |
Abstract :This study deals with the development of a column capable of analysing the regeneration exchange cycle of ion exchange resin or the state of ion exchange resin in water treatment of thermal power plant. This is to obtain reliable water treatment results with scientific and efficient monitoring. It is also intended to develop an ion exchange resin detection system capable of reducing the cost savings due to maintenance. Generally, thermal power plants use high purity water to obtain steam, and keeping water quality of plant water at a high purity level in a water circulation system is an essential element for stable operation of a power plant. To obtain high purity water using ion exchange resins is one of the methods currently used today. So far, only the water quality of the system has been measured, but the condition of the column and other factors are theoretically and largely excluded. Therefore, it is very important to analyze the changes in the water quality while observing the reactions in the column as the phytoremediation passes through the column. In addition, it is necessary to observe the exact condition of the system water as well as the exchange cycle and maintenance of the ion exchange resin. Thus, it is necessary to develop column sensing sensors and measuring devices with smart functions. This study aims to ensure stable operation of thermal power plants by maintaining an objective and reliable high-purity system numbers at the site |
