Reading plays an important role in widening knowledge and learning languages, but it is also a challenge. Although Vietnamese learners often get higher marks in English reading tests in comparison to other skills, students low motivation to read and their lack of general background knowledge are obvious. This presentation introduces News Report, a blended Extensive Reading - Intensive Reading activity. The process is consisted of four stages: choosing news, summarizing, making a glossary and presenting. The activity is designed with an aim of establishing the reading habit for learners to widen their knowledge and learn the target language simultaneously. As observed, it is unlikely to formulate the reading habit this way but it helps to guide students how to read effectively on their own. Participants will learn a multi-purpose reading activity and know how to apply it on their own or in their classroom.

Doing research in colleges and universities is an essential activity since it may provide students a good basis to become professional researcher and teacher in the future. However, few students in Vietnam can recognize the importance of research activities or possess an adequate background of knowledge to participate in these activities, and additionally, the obligatory course of Research Methodology offered in many universities cannot bring enough understanding in doing research to students. This study, thus, aims at investigating the effects of Research Methodology courses in both of their good and bad sides) on students at a pedagogical university. The study also attempts to survey the attitude of those students toward the activity of doing research and the impact of the attitude on their process of learning to be researchers

This article refers to a Lesson Study research implementing Corrective Feedback to enhance the students writing ability. The research aims to identify: (1) kinds and types of corrective feedback given by the lecturer to improve the students writing ability and (2) the process of giving corrective feedback in Creative Writing classroom. It was conducted to 37 second year students in the odd semester of 2016/2017 academic year of a University of Nusantara PGRI in Kediri, East Java. Questionaire, interview and tests were given before and after the implementation of corrective feedback activities and it had two cycles, consisting of three main stages, they are Plan, Do and See stage. The instruments used were questionnaire and interviews were given to the students before and after the implementation. The result showed that corrective feedback activities improved students writing ability. The students were interested in creative writing class as they paid good attention and felt fun when they were involved in making creative paragraphs consisting of a short story to be presented in front of the class and expressed their ideas upon the stories given. Their worries of making mistakes were decreased since the lecturer gave oral corrective feedback directly when they made mistakes in deciding the intrinsic elements of making short story and also when the lecturer made some notes upon their works as written corrective feedback discussing about the aspects of writing such as grammatical structure of sentences, vocabulary, ideas, organization and also mechanic. After having some beneficial notes to be revised the students will absolutely get the points about what the mistakes and weaknesses they made that not to be done again for the next project.

The method used in the article writing here is a review of several journals related to the development of broiler farming patterns. The purpose of writing this article is to know the advantages, disad-vantages and financial analysis of broiler development patterns independently and patnership system. Financially analyzed results obtained Day Old Chick input price (DOC) on partnership system 9,52% higher than independent system. The feed price on independent systems is relatively cheaper than the partnership system where the feed price difference is about 1000, - / kg of feed. The total revenue earned by independent farmers is 6,25% higher than the partnership system. BEP (Break Event Point) in the partnership system is relatively larger than the independent system. The R/C ratio analysis of independent system pattern is more advantageous than the partnership system where the independent system obtained R / C ratio of 1.31 and the partnership system of 1.11.

This study was done in Sumberingin, Sanankulon, Blitar, East Java. The object of this study is to Paranormal ability. The Islamic society life is influenced by the traditional Java belief taught by their great-grandparents so that the myth of the invisible power of human can influence social life. Character education and development of Pancasila values need to be implemented ??in schools to face globalization era that will bring many changes along with acceleration of new cultures and civilizations from various nations in the world. It means the world of education in generating quality of human resources and professionals must prepare a competitive generation of characters. A concrete steps to realize together is character education from an early age. On the other hand, the teacher as the spearhead in education world can insert character implementation in every learning process. One effective step that can be done is to implement cooperative script strategy in learning process and character implementation.
