Head and neck localization is rare, moreover at the level of the maxillary sinus. The certainty diagnosis is based on the clinical CT and histopathological findings. This histological type is associated with a low risk of metastasis. Early diagnosis and wide surgical resection of the tumor are the most important determinant factors of prognosis. In this article, we report a case where radiotherapy was used. |
| Complications of Abdominal Surgery, Study Carried Out in the Eastern Region of the Democratic Republic of the Congo | Author : Aymar CA*, Gentil DR, Ami MM | Abstract | Full Text | Abstract :Background: In some regions like ours, the complications from abdominal surgery are important indicators of the quality of surgical care, particularly in general surgery. The objective of our work is to study the complications of abdominal surgery.
Methods: This is a retrospective and descriptive study carried out in the general surgery Department of the Skyborn Hospital Center, over a period of 5 years, period from March 2016 to April 2021, with a total of 286 patients. Results: A total of 286 patients having participated in our study, we found that the male sex occupies 186 cases, the age group of the age group between 21 and 40 years occupies the first place, the cesarean with 42% was the first the surgical history, the surgical site infection and wound infection was the first postoperative complications with 64%. 91.6% of patients left the hospital without any particularity and 75.4% of patients received surgical treatment for the management of complications.
Conclusion: The delay in the management or non-prevention of complications is an important factor in the occurrence of complications from abdominal surgery. Good postoperative management of the operative site and the surgical wound can prevent and avoid complications of abdominal surgery |

These can ruin the lives of everyone. Infact these are slow poisons. Mostly teen agers are big victims of these drugs. They may be more likely to engage in harmful behavior. Alcohol, cigarettes, and crack cocaine are the most often consumed drugs by young people. Our objectives are to identify the effects of abusing drugs in our society and play a role to stop it. The study was done in the Faisalabad division by the interviews of people who were drug addicts through the questionnaire. This survey research was completed in March 2020 to June 2020. We interviewed about 450 drug addicts and we have found about six abusing drugs among those. The drugs were alcohol, heroin, marijuana, allergic injection, inhalant and opium and the percentage of addicts were 24, 30, 15, 14, 10 and 07 respectively. We also found 9% females and 91% males were involve and 25% were teen ager, 60% were between 20 to 40 years and 15% were above 40 years. It is concluded that authorities should play their role to stop this sin and it should be established a number of centers for treatment of the drug addicts.
