Variability analysis of the operation of the autonomous nervous system of athletes with cerebral PC soccer modality DOI: 10.29327/23854.4.1-1 | Author : GORLA, J. Irineu et al col | Abstract | Full Text | Abstract :The present study aims to characterize the profile of the functional analysis of autonomic nervous system (ANS) and cognitive variability in athletes with PC Soccer Cerebral Palsy. Anthropometry was used to characterize the population and the neurometric technique to evaluate the functioning of the autonomic nervous system through the DLO and POC protocols. The sample consisted of 12 PC Soccer athletes, with a mean age of 28 years (± 7.1). It was found that the group within the neurometric parameters showed a moderate tendency to anxiety disorders, possible physiological variations, with moderate alteration and significant tendency to functional reserve deficiency, with a predominance of fast pulse brain wave. |
| Impact of therapeutic use of neurofeedback on pain management DOI: 10.29327/23854.4.1-3 | Author : BONAFÉ, Fernanda S. Sampaio | Abstract | Full Text | Abstract :The aim of this study was to verify the effect of neurofeedback on pain control. A literature review was performed to describe the neurofeedback technique, pain and the impact of the neurofeedback on pain control. Neurofeedback is a noninvasive technique that provides information about brain functioning in real time, allowing the individual to learn to self-regulate. This process involves repetition, memory and learning and is associated with neuroplasticity and neural efficiency. Pain is an alert mechanism for the protection of the individual and its perception involves many brain structures. Pain is a complex process that involves from the discriminative-sensory aspects to affective-emotional aspects. Neurofeedback can act on specific brain regions and, through repetition, learning and memory mechanisms, together with neuroplasticity ability and neural efficiency, allows the reorganization in neural networks related to pain control and their emotional experiences. The use of neurofeedback was related to reduced pain and its impact on the individuals daily life, decreased fatigue, depression and anxiety, improved quality of life, increased alpha activity, decreased beta activity, more activity in the dorsolateral prefrontal cortex region and, more control in the insula activity. Further studies are needed to confirm the efficacy of the neurofeedback in different painful conditions and to establish the mechanism of action of neurofeedback in pain control. |

| Functional neurometry and applicability monitoring in individuals with focus and attention problems DOI: 10.29327/23854.4.1-2 | Author : MARCOS, J. S. Dias | Abstract | Full Text | Abstract :The objective of this study was to analyze the neurometric reaction through devices that capture signals from the nervous system, through sensors, showing the physiological and cognitive aspects of the patient. Thus, we can correlate them in a complementary model of clinical analysis, for a correct behavioral adaptation along with the diagnosis of the professional. Thus, we can perceive that it is a two-way path, where cognitive favors a good physiological response, as well as the physiological signals obtained in the neurometric monitoring can potentiate the action of the cognitive. The research methodology emphasizes bibliographical and documentary research, through the deductive approach. |
