ANALISIS KINERJA MINE OPERATION DENGAN PENDEKATAN ANALISA KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATOR DAN ANALISA BALANCED SCORECARD | Author : M Bratanata, Nurjannah Hamid, Ria Mardiana Yusuf | Abstract | Full Text | Abstract :A company to find out whether the target company has been achieved or not required a performance measure. With the measurement of the performance of the target of a company can be measured both quality and quantity, so that every employee has a clear direction for what is to be achieved. This study aims to analyze the performance of mine operation based on key performance indicator analysis and use balanced scorecard analysis and compare both performance analysis in measuring mine operation performance. This research was conducted at PT Vale Indonesia, especially at Mine Operation Department. Data collection was done by primary data analysis in the form of questionnaire and secondary data in the form of historical data of company report. The study used descriptive analysis using qualitative approach to measure performance in Mining Operation Department based on Balanced Scorecard approach. The performance of mine operation with key performance indicator analysis in 2016 increased by 113.81 compared to the year 2015 of 97.82. If using balanced scorecard analysis of mine operation performance in 2016 decreased by 81.89 compared to 2015 of 90.54. The difference in performance value of mine operation with these two analysts is found in the different performance indicators used for measurement. Analysis of performance of mine operation using key performance indicator and balanced scorecard have difference at level of indicator of financial performance. Where on the key performance indicator analysis, financial indicators are used at the corporate level while in the balanced scorecard analysis the authors try to measure the financial performance at department level. In addition, balanced scorecard analysis has incorporated learning and growth perspectives in performance measurement indicators. |

The approach used in this research is explanatory approach which explains the causality relationship that is to identify causal relationship between variables, the researcher looks for the real type of facts to help understand and predict the relationship. The results showed that partially each of the variables Improvement, Collaboration, Responsiveness, Reconfiguration, and Innovation positively affect the Implementation of Operation Strategy. Improvement, Collaboration, Responsiveness, Reconfiguration, and Innovation positively affect the Company Performance.
