The book titled el-Îsâgucî el-Cedid ve’d-Durri’l-Ferîd is one of the remarkable works of him. In this treatise, Karsî used Ebheri’s methodology on Isagogie. But, while Ebheri discusses the basic issues of logic and uses quite short and abstract terms in his book titled Isagogie, Karsî elucidates the issues of logic in detail and generally support them with examples. Accordingly, Karsî’s Isagucî-i Cedid can be accepted as one of the basic textbook of logic which can always be
referred, but rather as a short logic text. |

This study aims to analyze Muslim and Dhimmi relationship in Cyprus within Islamic law of property and obligations in the light of 17th and 18th century Cyprus qadi records. The most suitable branch of law is law of property and law of obligation to observe Muslim-Dhimmi relationship based upon Islamic court records in Cyprus of Ottoman era. Hence the record of property and obligation law constitute %81 of Islamic law court records of 17th and 18th century. These documents are important in terms of Islamic law practices and also in terms of economic relationship of Muslim-Dhimmi communities. Thus this study presents Muslim-Dhimmi relationship regarding to Islamic property law and law of obligations, the solutions of issues related to these Islamic law branches. Also this study analyzes the relevance of these solutions to Islamic law. The resources of this study contain 22 qadi record notebooks which cover 17th and 18th centuries and classical and modern Islamic law literature. |

With the passing of the island dominated by Turkey, it will be examined the sociological causes of political and diplomatic aspects of international intrigue endless ambitions of the island. This study will focus on the causes of the EU and the US tolerance policy against Enosis ideas and practices. Also in this study, which has influence in the island guarantees as required by the treaty, it will be analyzed sociological and psychological causes of feeling resentment against the Turkish military. In addition, Greece’s diplomatic moves of the underlying causes of the principle of self-determination of communities living in Cyprus application request will be considered. Cyprus has drawn the attention of many countries with great strategic and geopolitical position as of today is still like it was yesterday. And finally, in this study, the sociopsychological causes of negative behavior exhibited against the Turkish community of European countries will be discussed. |

| MEHMET AKIF ERSOY’S QUR’AN COMMENTARY IN TERMS OF SOCIOLOGICAL TAFSIR APPROACH | Author : Ercan Sen | Abstract | Full Text | Abstract :The vast majority of studies on the Mehmet Akif, focused on his life, character, literary side, political opinions, islamic perspective and on the meaning of the Qur’an, but his views on the understanding and interpretation of the Qur’an - some studies except- is not considered as much depth. Akif, as well as a poet and a strong character but also a poet Qur’an, classical and technical sense if not a scholar and commentator, he learned tafsir, fiqh, hadith and as theology basic Islamic sciences. Especially he is a Qur’an scholar, that have distinguished with knowledge of Arabic that the language of the Qur’an, have taken the source of the existence of the Qur’an and Islam, have organized basic codes of his thought as a focus on the Qur’an, have seen the development and unification of Muslims in the correct understanding of the Qur’an, and have tried to interpretation some verses of the Qur’an in this direction. In addition to this, Mehmet Akif is that defending one of the pioneers of the idea that based on the Qur’an the idea of breeding and renewal. Therefore, his understanding and interpretation of the Qur’an bears little difference from the classical exegetical tradition in this respect. Hence, know the points highlighted of Mehmet Akif’s interpretation of the Qur’an, in a sense, is to know contemporary tafsir’s which based on points.
