This process is a visual planning of branding that has done to appeared again the identity of Blasteran Cafe where has different menu from the other competitors, having a brand except food/drink is a liquid soap that’s used for washing the dishes or glasses and clothes (handmade) as well as expansion of market target which is in society spesifically collage student. The method that used in here is SWOT analysis for getting visual that match with the concept of Blasteran Cafe. The activities are: visual concept (typography, color, graphis element), then applied belong to the photo of product, called menu book, sticker and signed of location. The Maritime Department of the Samarinda State Polytechnic continues to develop every year and seeing the current conditions, the remote access to the Maritime campus in Sempaja, this is what encourages the development of infrastructure and facilities in one Samarinda State Polytechnic Area, to make it easier for students and teachers to always be able to communicate and deal easily with the establishment of a maritime building in one Polnes area. Contextual Architecture is an architectural concept used to create building designs and their aspects. This approach considers the local characteristics where the building will be erected so that the design results can be sustainable with the existing land conditions. The organization of the planned space in this building consists of other spaces that are related to each other according to their function, so that they are organized into interrelated patterns of form and space. |

This study aims to design a Crispy Anchovy package in Teluk Pandan Village. The design method applied refers to the Vinod Goel design method which uses 3 stages, namely preliminary design, development design, and final design. The design emphasizes the concept of re-usability, where packages that have run out of contents, the package can be reused with different functions. The design of Crispy Anchovy packaging is expected to be able to attract consumers through the new packaging, by making packaging as a promotional medium, so as to increase the selling value of Crispy Anchovy products. |
| PENGARUH POSISI SAMBUNGAN KONSTRUKSI KAYU TERHADAP DEDAIN PRODUK MEBEL BERBAHAN DASAR KAYU | Author : Bahtiar Rahmat, Desy Mulyosari, Agung Ari Purwanto, Wahyu Widiyanto | Abstract | Full Text | Abstract :Wood furniture products were one of the commodities that have a dominant contribution compared to other furniture materials to the Indonesian economy. In furniture products, the connection system was a weak point in the construction, so a detailed analysis was needed regarding the factors that affect the strength of the construction and the effectiveness of the wood connection system. The purpose of this study was to determine the quality of the wood used as outdoor chair material by carrying out several tests to obtain wood density, moisture content, MOR and MOE values and then carrying out impact tests on actual outdoor chair products. The results showed that the teak wood used in the raw material for making the product had a moisture content of 12% with an average density of 0.68 g/cm3. The results of the static flexural strength test showed that the MOE of the tested teak was 107,108 kg/cm2 and the MOR value was 1,018 kg/cm2. The compressive strength value parallel to the fiber is 536 kg/cm2. The teak sample tested was included in strong class II which is quite strong as a raw material for furniture such as outdoor chairs. Analysis of the results of the construction design found that the type of construction used was tenon mortise, cracks at the joints occurred because the tenon was too close to the head of the wood. Based on the product test results, after the product with a new construction design was made, by lowering the tenon mortise position 3 mm from the initial position. The crack that occurs in the product is caused by an error in product construction design and not from the quality of the product raw materials used. |

However, most ride-on toys on the market only have one form or one function. Based on the observations of families, ride-on toys only have a period of 1-2 years within the same pattern of games.
The results of interviews with several parents stated that they needed ride-on toys that would last a long time and have multifunctional use. Therefore, this research developed ride-on toys for toddlers that could transform their shapes and have more varied patterns of games.
The researcher employed qualitative and quantitative methods, in which the quantitative method was applied to support the data for the qualitative method. In addition, this research implemented SWOT analysis and design analysis after all the data had been collected. Next, they were analyzed to produce a design synthesis. This research eventually developed ride-on toys that could transform their shapes into scooters, balance bicycles, 3-wheeled bicycles, and strollers

With technology, wood can be formed into veneer and used as marquetry products. The appearance of furniture covered with marquetry becomes more beautiful, thereby increasing the selling value. The purpose of this research is to identify the characteristics of the finish for marquetry, and to implement the marquetry design on furniture. Data collection was carried out by observation, literature studies, visuals, and experimentation. Marquetry products can be made from wood whose fibers have a combination of contrasting colors and various directions, such as mahogany, mindi, sonokeling, teak, and sengon. Wood that has a rough texture breaks more easily in a sharp marquetry design. |

Salt is a white crystal with a salty taste and is produced by processing and cultivating seawater by pond farmers. The salt harvest is brought from the pond to the storage warehouse by the salt farmers using two-wheeled motorized vehicles or motorbikes, transporting a load of up to 180 Kg. However, the process of transporting the salt harvest has the problem of being load-burdened on the front of the motorcycle. They have difficulties turning their motorcycles and have pain as they have to bear the load. Therefore, this study aims at designing a means of transportation for salt farmers to transport salt during the harvest. The research employed a mixed method, taking the data through interviews, questionnaires, and literature studies from books, journals, and websites. The researchers also conducted field observations on harvesting and transporting crops by salt farmers as well as simulated the design. By using needs analysis, the need for transport design to solve the problem of salt farmers was investigated. In addition, the design concept used a minimalist utility, prioritizing the function and simplicity of shapes compared to other aspects. The final design made by the researchers was then continued to the production stage and product trials to see how the product was used in the field by salt farmers and could load 3 sacks weighing 180Kg. The product was also displayed at the exhibition held at the campus of Adhi Tama Surabaya Institute of Technology to introduce it to the public |

Karena gedung program studi Arsitektur masih baru maka dibutuhkan meja khusus Ketua Jurusan Desain di gedung tersebut. Tujuan perancangan meja kerja ini adalah untuk melengkapi kebutuhan produk mebel di ruang Ketua Jurusan yang ada di gedung Arsitektur. Desain meja kerja ini menggunakan konsep portable dan sistem lepas-pasang pada bagian-bagian tertentu yang dapat mengatasi permasalahan space ruang kantor dan pintu yang sempit, serta mengutamakan kebutuhan pengguna dari segi fungsi dan estetikanya. Dengan metode perancangan yang dilakukan antara lain; pengumpulan data, analisa data, konsep atau spesifikasi desain, alternatif desain, pengembangan alternatif terpilih, serta desain akhir, maka didapatkan hasil akhir perancangan meja kerja dengan konsep portable bergaya desain modern sesuai kebutuhan dan keinginan pengguna. Teknik kimia yang merupakan jurusan teknik terapan memiliki serangkaian praktikum untuk dilakukan demi menunjang proses belajar mengajar. Pada kegiatan praktikum Jurusan Teknik Kimia, mahasiswa jurusan tersebut mewajibkan setiap mahasiswanya untuk memiliki peralatan praktikum pribadi guna menunjang kebutuhan setiap mahasiswa dalam melaksanakan praktikum. Mahasiswa-mahasiswa jurusan Teknik Kimia Politeknik Negeri Samarinda membawa dan menyimpan peralatan praktikum pribadinya pada sebuah kotak sepatu yang dilapisi kertas sampul. Penggunaan kotak sepatu sebagai sarana bawa dan penyimpanan membuat peralatan praktikum mudah rusak dan tidak terkonfigurasi secara baik. Untuk menunjang pelaksanaan kegiatan di bagian Admin Jasa diperlukan sarana kerja yang baik dan sesuai dengan kebutuhan di dalamnya. Salah satu sarana kerja yang mempengaruhi dalam kegiatan dibagian admin jasa ini adalah meja kerja. Seiring dengan perkembangan jasa yang dibutuhkan terutama di bidang admin, yang menuntut adanya informasi yang berkualitas untuk mendukung kelancaran proses pelayanan terhadap pelanggan. Harapan tersebut dapat dipenuhi dengan adanya pelayanan yang baik, cepat dan dapat memuaskan pelanggan. Permasalahan tersebut meliputi penempatan printer yang kurang tepat dan kurangnya space khusus tiga printer admin yang terdiri dari printer biasa, printer bill PPOB (Payment Point Online Bank), printer stempel. Penempatan papan ketik/keyboard dan CPU (Central Processing Unit) yang kurang tepat pada meja tersebut. Dan yang dibutuhkan seorang admin adalah laci kasir. Dalam melakukan kegiatan pembangunan dibutuhkanlah alat-alat bangunan, dari alat yang berat sampai dengan alat yang sederhana. Sebagai pekerjaan khusus pada suatu proses pembangunan di butuhkan semua peralatan tersebut dalam aktivitas pertukangan termasuk pada kondisi ketinggian yang sulit dan berbahaya bagi para pekerja bangunan. Maka diperlukan bagaimana cara membawa semua alat perkakas bangunan itu dengan aman. Melalui proses desain yakni dimulai dengan pengumpulan data, pengamatan, menganalisis yang menghasilkan spesifikasi desain dan membuat alternative desaian serta menentukan desaian akhir sebagai final desain.
Maka dihasilkan suatu perancangan sarana bawa yang dapat menaggulangi kelalaian pada saat membawa alat perkakas bangunan. Sarana bawa tersebut harus aman dan fungsional saat di gunakan. Perancangan desaian sarana bawa menghasilkan sebuah rompi yang memiliki kantong khusus yaitu alat bangunan beserta dengan alat safety berupa full body harness keselamatan saat berada di aktivitas ketinggian. |
