Abstract :Background: Needle sticks and suffering from it, is one of the biggest problems for hospitals and medical staff. Needle stick can cause pathogen and sometimes disease transmission. The aim of this study is working on approaches for preventing needle stick.
Methods: This project started with a new researcher idea then by searching in the scientific content of articles and book, the title and proposal the project was compiled with opinion of the supervisor. Then model of the device was designed in collaboration with graphic & mechanical engineers Fianccy. The main tool was invented by the researcher.
Results: Results of this study and other surveys can be one of the most effective ways to prevent needle stick. Also using safe protectors can decrease it significantly. Besides, modifying the preventive policies such as producing instruments like anti needle stick protectors is recommended. |

Abstract :It is important to increase the quality of health and medicine. A wearable system for continuous monitoring of the patient is important to overcome this issue. Thus, a patient with Arrhythmia due to its low cost and success in saving the life of the patient was the right option for the care partner. In addition, the device will provide a consumer with a smart smartphone application with accurate pulse beat and body temperature data in real-time. MAX 30100 and LM35 are primarily used for the detection of human heart and temperature. An arrhythmia algorithm in the esp32 segment generates the performance of these sensors. |

Abstract :In the human body, practically all organs work in coordination in co-operation with other organs since they are regulated by neurological, hormonal, environmental signals. Scientists have lately found out another regulatory factor the intestinal microbiota. The quality and the quantity of microbiota are also dependent on many internal and external factors. The composition of the intestinal microbiota also affects those systems which are regulated by circadian rhythms, in other words, circadian rhythms and microbiota is a two-way street. In this review, we have discussed the cross-talk between these two regulators. |

Modified Desarda Repair and Hernioplastia Lichtenstein Repair for Inguinal Hernia. |

Abstract :Introduction: The objective of this study is to compare the outcomes of Modified Desarda repair no mesh and Lichtenstein repair for inguinal hernia.
Methods: This is a prospective randomized controlled trial study of 1342 patients having 1394 hernias operated from January 2008 to December 2020. 690 patients were operated on using Lichtenstein repair and 652 using Desarda repair. The demographic data (Age, Sex), hernia type and location, anesthetic, operative time, postoperative pain, and complications were analyzed.
Results: There were no significant differences regarding age, sex, location, type of hernia, and pain in both groups. The operation time was 52 minutes in the Modified Desarda group and 42 minutes in the Lichtenstein group that is significant (p<0.05). The recurrence was 0.0 % in the Modified Desarda group and 0.28 % in the Lichtenstein group. But, there were 9 cases of infection to the polypropylene mesh in the Lichtenstein group, 2 of this required re-exploration. The morbidity was also significantly more in the Lichtenstein group (7,6 %) as compared to the Modified Desarda group (3.8 %). The mean time to return to work in the Modified Desarda group was 8.26 days while a mean of 12.58 days was in the Lichtenstein group. The mean hospital stay was 29 hrs. in the Modified Desarda group while it was 49 hours in the Lichtenstein group in those patients who were hospitalized.
Conclusions: The modified Desarda repair scores significantly on Lichtenstein repair in most of all aspects, including reexploration and morbidity. Modified Desarda repair is a better option compared to Lichtenstein repair. |
