The objective of this research is to determine how the existence of reading shops is one of the innovations in the reading community, as well as the perceived benefits of reading shops. The research method employed in this study is descriptive research with qualitative methods. The procedure of gathering data through a series of activities ranging from observations or surveys to the conduct of interviews. The findings indicate that Kedai Baca Sipakainga still exists among the community, with the aim of visiting the reading shop, as well as a place to gather and enjoy coffee, read accessible reading books, or look for reference materials. The benefits that visitors and owners can derive include increased interest in the visit, which benefits the manager including additional income, while the visitors perceive an escalating intention of reading due to the presence of books in the reading stalls.

In realizing a library that is appropriate to its function and roles, the library requires management that is suitable to the national library standards in managing library. The purpose of this study is to describe the library management strategy at SD Inpress Baruppu, Pinrang Regency. This research is a qualitative descriptive study. The data was gathered from the library manager and the principal. Data collection procedures use observation techniques, structured interviews, and documentation. Data analysis consists of data reduction, data display and verification. The findings showed that the library manager at this school had compiled a daily work program, short-term, medium-term, and long-term. To carry out all these work programs, the principal forms the organizational structure of the library manager as the authority of daily activities along with the description of the duties of each part or work function contained therein. The principal conducts an evaluation with the aim of knowing the work achievements of various predetermined programs that will be used as input for improving the library organization in the following academic years.

This study aims to describe the competence of Arabic Language and Literature students at Faculty of Adab and Humanities of UIN Alauddin in producing scientific papers by testing the effectiveness of demands and confirming the challenges faced. The focus of the objects and data sources of this study were students majoring in Arabic in semesters 5 and 7 who were found randomly or random sampling. Presentation of data is done descriptively. Data analysis and drawing conclusions are done inductively. The results of the research show that Arabic Language and Literature (BSA) students are not aware of the opportunities they have to conduct research and produce scientific papers (KTI). This has implications for the increasing challenges they face, because in addition to their inability to utilize a number of supporting facilities, they also lack research and writing experience. In fact, because the inability to seize opportunities makes them less motivated and weak in interest.

This research discusses the Efforts of UPT UIN Datokarama Palu Library in Increasing Student Interest in Reading. This is a field study of the problems raised in this study on how the Efforts of the UPT UIN Datokarama Palu Library in Increasing Student Interest in Reading. Therefore, the research aims to find out the Efforts of the UPT UIN Datokarama Palu Library in Increasing Student Interest in Reading. This method uses a qualitative approach, and data collection techniques through interviews, observations, and documentation studies, the data analysis techniques used are data reduction, data presentation, and concluding. The results of this study show that the efforts of the UPT UIN Datokarama Palu Library in Increasing Student Interest in Reading are to carry out various services and activities, namely on-site reading services, online collection services, literacy development workshops, article writing competitions, and reading corners in the UIN Datokarama Palu campus environment. UPT Library strives to always provide facilities, and reading materials, and serve students and the campus community well, the obstacles faced by UPT Library are the lack of librarians and low interest in reading students. Therefore, so that students doing assignments from lecturers can use the library as a place to find references and make it easier for final semester students to work on proposals and thesis, UPT Library requires all students to have a library card. Implications the author can give about the UPT Efforts. UIN Datokarama Palu Library in Increasing Student Interest in Reading, which requires follow-up, including the UPT UIN Datokarama Library must cooperate with other university libraries and national libraries and make turning into a digital library as a step that must be carried out by the UIN Datokarama Palu library so that students can access information and reading materials anywhere and anytime.
