COVID-19 and Food Delivery Employees’ Workplace Safety | Author : Mei-Jun Huang | Abstract | Full Text | Abstract :With the global pandemic of COVID-19 in recent years, food delivery employees’ workplace safety has been severely threatened and challenged. Thus, this study hopes to understand their real work safety and its impact. Based on the perspective of human resource development, broaden-and-build theory, and internal and external marketing activities, the study examines the relationships between safety leadership, safety training, employee well-being, service quality, and customer citizenship behavior. The results using three-wave and 498 valid employee-customer pairs (498 food delivery employees and 600 customers) from 2 food delivery companies in Taiwan showed that: (1) Safety leadership positively affects employee well-being; (2) Safety training positively affects employee well-being; (3) Employee well-being positively affects service quality; (4) Employee well-being positively affects customer citizenship behavior; (5) Employee well-being mediates the relationship between safety leadership and customer citizenship behavior, and (6) Safety training moderates the relationship between safety leadership and employee wellbeing. Research and managerial implications are discussed. |

It’s paramount that we locate the phenomenon of witchcraft within the broader history of Islamization, specifically at Mtongwe. In the research review, authors of history of Islam at the Coast, including Sperling, Trimigharm, and Lewis among others, have written extensively on factors that facilitated Islamization without focusing on witchcraft. The paper other than identifying factors for Islamization, it also brings out reasons for not accommodating Islam wholesomely. Through personal interviews and questionnaires, the research confirmed that witchcraft is one of the factors of Islamization among Digo community of Mtongwe. It also confirmed that trade, intermarriage, celebrations were the main factors that led to the Islamization of the Digo community of Mtongwe. |

The population of this study is the population in this study is the owner of MSMEs in the city of Malang amounted to 10,904 with a total sample of 100 MSME owners and sampling using simple random sampling technique. The analytical tool to test the hypothesis used Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) analysis. Idiomatic expressions are commonly used in everyday communication, but their meanings may not be easily inferred from their literal translations. This study analyzes the strategies used by translators to convey the intended meaning of idiomatic expressions in the target language. The research methodology involves a comparative analysis of different translations of English idiomatic expressions into Russian, focusing on the nuances and subtleties of meaning that may be lost in translation. The analysis is based on a corpus of authentic texts, including literary works, news articles, and online content, which contain a wide range of English idiomatic expressions. The study aims to identify the main challenges that translators face when translating idiomatic expressions from English into Russian, such as cultural differences, idiomatic equivalences, and the preservation of the figurative language. Additionally, the research examines the impact of context on the translation of idiomatic expressions, as well as the role of translation theory in addressing the challenges of idiomatic translation. This study aims to determine the effect of remuneration on job satisfaction among library staff of Bayero University Kano, Nigeria through quantitative research technique. The population taken was 171 employees with a sample size of 119 employees, through simple random sampling technique. Data analysis technique employed was spearman correlation. The results indicate a positive relationship between remuneration and job satisfaction in nature with the goodness of fit measured at .0642. Additionally, job satisfaction has a significant effect on employee salary and recognition, nevertheless allowance and feedback were not found to be significant. |

The researchers used descriptive survey and data were collected using structured questionnaires distributed to relevant personnel within the scope of the study. The total population was two thousand, three hundred and twenty-two (2,322) staff and a sample size of one hundred (100) were determined through stratified random sampling technique. Questionnaires were distributed to the samples, their response were used for analysis. Two hypotheses were raised and tested using correlation and regression analysis. The major findings of the study were that the amounts of money spent on sales promotion in relation to the amount spent on the other element of the promotion mix in sustaining entrepreneurship is justifiable compared with its benefits, as it brings awareness of product and loyalty of consumers to products brands. Based on this findings, the study recommended that persuasive, informative and reminder advertising as means to entrepreneurship sustainability should be encouraged. |

The object of this study were 9 D grade students, 2022/2023 academic year, with a total of 30 students, consisting of 18 girls and 12 boys. The research process or learning improvement is carried out in 2 cycles. Cycle I was held on Thursday, 19 October 2022 and cycle II was held on Thursday, 9 November 2022. Each cycle consists of 4 stages, namely: (1) Planning (Plan), (2) Implementation of Action (Action), ( 3) Observation (Observation), and (4) Reflection (Reflection). The results of the study concluded that the use of the student’s team achievement division method can improve learning activities and learning outcomes in students in grade 9 D, Muntilan 1 Public Middle School, Magelang, Central Java. The results of the research in Cycle I that reached KKM/Kriteria Ketuntasan Minimal/ Minimum Completeness Criteria (70) were 4 students or 1.2% of 30 students. In cycle II, 27 students achieved KKM (70) or in other words, reached 900%. Thus it has increased by 90%. The results of the classroom action research above imply that by using the students teams achievement division method not only do students want to learn academic skills and content, but also learn to understand several aspects of life, especially in collaborating or working together to advance or achieve all. |
