The Influence of Smartphone Use on Students Learning Outcomes in Ppkn Subjects at Smpn 21 Depok West Java Indonesia | Author : Imas Masriah, Teti Setiawati | Abstract | Full Text | Abstract :The rapid development of science and technology certainly affects the learning process. Learning outcomes cannot only be seen and measured from how students memorize theories, but can be seen from students abilities in understanding concepts, in mastering material, in solving problems, and the overall learning outcomes of students. The purpose of this study was to determine whether there was an effect of smartphone use on student learning outcomes in class VIII civics subjects at SMPN 21 Depok. The research method used is quantitative with a correlation approach. The total population for the research target was 227 students, with a total sample of 145 students.
The results of his research show that (1) based on the results of the normality test using the Kolmogorov Smirnov method, a significance value of 0.200 out of 0.05 is obtained, so the data is normally distributed; (2) based on the ANOVA table, the sig. +0.070 < 0.05, then the criteria meet linearity; (3) based on the results of the Regression Determination Test, an R Square value of 0.097 or 9 is obtained.7%. This shows that the use of smartphones has an effect of 9.7% on learning outcomes, while the remaining 90.3% is influenced by other variables not examined in this research; and (4) based on the t test (Partial Test), variable X has a value of 1.822 > 1.655 and with a significance of variable X of 0.070 > 0.05, it can be concluded that it is accepted while rejected, which means that smartphone use has a positive correlation with learning outcomes in subjects PPKn. t_(hitung>) t_(tabel, so ) H_(a accept ). |

This study aims to determine the effect of job satisfaction and organizational commitment on operational employee turnover intention at CV Cahaya Kapasindo. The population in this study were all employees of CV Cahaya Kapasindo which consisted of 180 employees. A sampling of 124 employees using a proportional stratified random sampling technique. The analytical tool used is multiple linear regression analysis which has previously been tested for validity, reliability, and classical assumption tests. The test results reveal that job satisfaction and organizational commitment have a significant effect simultaneously on turnover intention. Job satisfaction has a negative and significant effect partially on turnover intention. Organizational commitment has a negative and significant effect partially on turnover intention. Higher job satisfaction and organizational commitment will have an impact on decreasing the turnover intention of operational employees. |

Dariagan, Maria Teresa Cosico | Abstract | Full Text | Abstract :This study endeavored to find out the relationship of the Usage of Language Learning Strategy and Integrative Test Competence among secondary students. The level of students’ usage of language learning strategy is “moderate.” This may have happened because at any age during the adolescent’s stage, students’ learning habit is not that established yet. Students have an “average” level of integrative test competence. Yet the male results reveal to low since their attitude towards language learning is not as enthusiastic as with female who got the result of average. The integrative test competence of the secondary students has an “average” level of competence. It is also revealed in the result that there is no significant difference in the level of the integrative test competence among the four grade levels. This could mean that students are not exposed to integrative testing. They are used to discrete testing that is often given by the teachers in every lesson. This could also mean that the level of difficulty appropriate to the level is not observed. Since it is expected that the higher the level, students get to learn more complex lessons that could help improve their competence with the language. The no significant relationship between language learning strategy and integrative test competence could mean that the language learning strategy awareness is not that established to students and that integrative test competence might be influenced by some other factors like exposure to such kind and the holistic approach to the language teaching. |

This article discusses the thought of Muslim society in Jombang, East Java, an area with ferventlyreligious citizens, about the government s regulation of mosque closure during the Covid-19 pandemic. This study is qualitative. The data was collected in Jombang through observation, interview, and documentation. This study shows that Muslim society in Jombang, East Java, has various opinions about the government s regulation of mosque closure during the Covid-19 pandemic. All mosques in this study remain open during the Covid-19 pandemic only the Baitul Mukminin mosque has ever cancelled Eid alFitr prayers. The reason presented is that the mosque implements health protocols, so it is safe for worship. In addition, they believe that diseases come from God, so they must get closer to Allah by worshipping in mosques and mosques as places of da wa. During the Covid-19 pandemic, mosque income decreased. From the worshipper s perspective, they worship at mosques because mosques implement health protocols or because residents do not believe in Covid-19, so they continue to worship as usual. Worshippers who worship at home assume to maintain health and feel uncomfortable worshipping in the mosque because it is complicated to comply with health protocols. From the perspective of Islamic theology, the policy of mosque ta mirs in Jombang not to close mosques during the Covid-19 pandemic, and residents who are still active in going to mosques is according to QS. At-Tawbah 9: Verse 18 is about prospering mosques. To prevent the spread of Covid-19, they implement health protocols. Meanwhile, those who do not go to the mosque obey the government s recommendation to worship at home because they are in emergency conditions and because of the benefit of maintaining the soul so as not to transmit contract Covid-19. |
