| Teachers Understandings of The Effect of Continuous Professional Development Activities on Improvement of Quality of Teaching and Learning. A Review Study | Author : Jean Baptiste Bunane, Vukama Abraham | Abstract | Full Text | Abstract :This review study includes 30 articles from 2016 and 2024 focusing on teachers perception on the impact of professional development, as headed by the following twofold research questions: What are the teachers perceptions on the impact of CPD activities in teaching and learning process? And what is the role of the school administration on the implementation of CPD for teachers? The review indicates that teachers professional growth has to be developed if they are ones to lead to school change and innovation in terms of improvement. Researchers in their investigation should not only focus on teachers learning process in schools and left behind the impact of it to the students learning as measurable variable in terms of performance rather they should conduct formative intervention studies that can be assessed empirically and provoke a desirable transformation and includes stakeholders, school leaders and teachers in the whole school as learning environment. Findings from this review suggest that more researches on impact of CPD are needed to deep dig its impact on students learning through teachers collaboration, teacher-student collaboration and teacher-school leader collaboration as a smart solution to overcome the challenges that hinder CPD effectiveness.

| Public Debt and Economic Growth in MENA Countries. An Analysis by Panel Co-Integration Techniques | Author : Kaouther AMIRI | Abstract | Full Text | Abstract :This study analyzes the dynamic relationship between public debt and economic growth in the economies of the MENA region during 1996 -2020. To do this, two econometric tools were applied. The first method presents panel cointegration techniques and Granger causality tests to verify the existence of a long-term relationship and examine the direction of causality between the different variables chosen. The FMOLS and DOLS panel techniques were used to estimate the long-term parameters. Thus, we show that the long-term impact of public debt on economic growth is both positive and significant. The second method describes the link using a linear growth model and another dynamic model. The latter two were estimated using the generalized moments method with dynamic panel data. The results show a close relationship between the exogenous variable debt and endogenous variable economic growth, and that debt positively affects growth up to a certain threshold. Beyond this threshold, the effect becomes negative and significant. Nevertheless, we have concluded that from a certain threshold, debt can exceed the repayment capacities and, therefore, disadvantage growth, which will in turn discourage domestic investments and savings.

| African Law and The Status of Womens Access to Justice in Cameroon | Author : TCHANA Anthony NZOUEDJA, PhD | Abstract | Full Text | Abstract :The sources of law in most African countries are customary law, the received laws and legislation both colonial and post-independence. In a typical African country as is the case with Cameroon, the great majority of people conduct their personal activities in accordance with and subject to customary law. Customary law has great impact in the area of personal law in regard to matters such as marriage, inheritance and traditional authority, and because it developed in an era dominated by patriarchy some of its norms conflict with human rights norms guaranteeing equality between men and women. While recognising the role of legislative reforms, it is argued here that the courts have an important role to play in ensuring that customary law is reformed and developed to ensure that it conforms to human rights norms and contribute to the promotion of equality between men and women. The guiding principle should be that customary law is a living law and cannot therefore be static. It must be interpreted to take account of the lived experiences of the people it serves.

| Culpability and Prediction in Medical Error | Author : Homaile Mascarin do Vale, Ana Elisabete Farinha Ferreira e Dias Pereira | Abstract | Full Text | Abstract :According to the World Health Organization (2023), 2.6 million people die annually due to preventable adverse events in hospitals. This data is still underestimated, as the study evaluated only 150 countries. Each year, out of the 19.4 million people treated in hospitals in Brazil, 1.3 million experience at least one side effect caused by negligence or recklessness during medical treatment. In 2021, the Federal Council of Medicine reported that 92% of colleges do not meet at least one of the three parameters deemed ideal for the proper operation of medical courses. Every hour, three medical error lawsuits (The National Justice Council states that 3 medical error lawsuits are filed every hour) are filed in Brazil, and medical culpability finds practical and doctrinal differences at civil and criminal levels. The implementation of evidence-based medicine can reduce the numbers indicated and to this end, supported by the medical literature, the practitioner has the opportunity to contain the error and, as a consequence, the accounting of deaths and unexpected events using the exact science for that. The research thus recommends strategies to reduce avoidable errors and calls for stricter penalties for gross error.

| Shifting Paradigms: Exploring the Tapestry of Global Assistance and Its Resonance within Nigerias Fiscal Framework" | Author : Dr. Mrs. Nkem Ogechukwu Maureen, Angelonu (Ejelonu) Henry Onyebuchi | Abstract | Full Text | Abstract :This study critically explores the Tapestry of Global Assistance and Its Resonance within Nigerias Fiscal Framework from 1981 to 2021, the study objectively explored the degree to which various forms of foreign aid—such as official development assistance, foreign grants, and technical aid—impact public expenditure growth within a shifting economic paradigm. Employing statistical measures such as the Coefficient of Determination (R²), F-statistics, and the Durbin-Watson statistic. Incorporating variables such as foreign technical cooperation (FTECH), foreign grants (FGRANT), official development assistance (FODA), multilateral foreign aids (MFAID), and exchange rates (EXR), the study employs time-series data from the World Bank Development Indicators and a modified regression approach. The analysis seeks to delineate the complex dynamics between external financial inputs and internal fiscal outcomes over the period from 1981 to 2021. The findings reveal a nuanced landscape where foreign aid, though impactful, does not singularly dictate fiscal changes, suggesting a need for broader, more inclusive economic strategies that leverage both external and internal resources. Augmented Dickey-Fuller (ADF) tests confirm the stationarity of these variables, validating their reliability in modeling economic impacts. The ARDL bound test results indicate no long-term sustainable relationship between foreign aid components and public expenditure growth, pointing to a more nuanced interaction between foreign aid inflows and Nigerias fiscal strategies, whether expansive or restrictive.

| Extracurricular Activities in Environmental Educational Clubs: A Way to Improve Learning and Anchor Environmental Culture In Qualifying Secondary | Author : Hanane El Fadel, Mohammed Merzouki | Abstract | Full Text | Abstract :The recent wave of reform in Education brought with it a lot of important changes to the teaching of science in secondary school, in particular by favouring the integration of new disciplinary and priority fields such as environmental education (EVE). However, it appears that, concretely, EVE actions are rather rare in our educational institutions given the lack of initial teacher training in this field. The context of this work is interested in showing how environmental education clubs can contribute to the improvement of environmental learning and education in qualifying secondary schools. The difficulty of combining environmental education with the teaching of life and earth sciences is associated with the difficulty of linking all school disciplines within a reformed national curriculum. The difficulties raised regarding the institutionalization of the EVE are very real and internationally encountered, but remain diluted through the sum of all the problems related to the new curricula. Despite all the socio-educational, political and economic constraints, it is important to insist that environmental education has its place in the fundamental education of young citizens today in a world they contribute to building. The systematic integration of the environmental dimension in the Moroccan education system can be conceived in two parallel ways: the disciplinary contents that must ensure the construction of skills and solid theoretical knowledge on the environment in the learners by providing them with the necessary knowledge as well as the practical and extracurricular activities provided by the clubs of the environment, considered a crucial and compulsory field, which allows multidimensional teaching linked to the concerns of society.

| Organoleptic Analysis Test and Proximate of Seruni Plants (Wedelia Biflora) as Animal Feed | Author : Nautus Stivano Dalle, George G. F. Adeventeen, Marianus Supardi Jehatu, Serlin Anjelita Djami, Viktor Kevin Sekar | Abstract | Full Text | Abstract :This research was conducted in Ruteng City in February-April 2023 with the aim of determining the nutritional content of seruni leaves (wedelia biflora). This study uses a direct experimental method. The first stage is an organoleptic test and continued with a proximate analysis. The treatment to be tested is P0: Seroni leaf flour taken in Ruteng City; P1: Seroni leaf flour taken around Ruteng City. This study used the t-test to evaluate significant differences in the nutritional content of Seruni leaf flour in the area around Ruteng. The results of the proximate analysis of Wedelia biflora leaves showed that this leaf had a balanced nutritional composition, with a high content of dry matter (90%), crude protein (±16%), crude fat (±10%), crude fiber (±10%), carbohydrates (±57%), and BETN (±47%). This composition indicates that Wedelia biflora is a good source of nutrients, containing adequate protein, high enough fat, as well as dominant carbohydrates and BETN, making it an efficient source of energy. moderate content of crude fiber also contributes to digestive health. With a balanced nutritional composition and the benefits provided, Wedelia biflora has great potential as a feed additive for various types of livestock to support the growth, health, and productivity of livestock.

| Doing Well by Doing Good Innovations: Outcomes of The "LENTERA Sukamoro" Community Development Program | Author : Ilham Ainuddin, Yuliana, Gilda Maulina, Sendhang Nurseto | Abstract | Full Text | Abstract :PT Bukit Asam Dermaga Kertapati Unit (PTBA Derti) is a State-Owned Enterprise (BUMN) in the coal mining business. As a coal distribution firm, PT Bukit Asam Unit Dermaga Kertapati is required to practice Corporate Social Innovation (CSI) and environmental social responsibility in the area surrounding its activities. The PTBA Derti CSI program is carried out in Sukamoro Village under the name "LENTERA Sukamoro". It focuses on community development that is commensurate with the communitys social, economic, and environmental situations. This study aims to investigate, from the viewpoint of program participants, the results of a corporate social innovation (CSI) initiative in community development. Data was gathered through surveys, questionnaires, and in-depth interviews with 15 LENTERA Sukamoro program participants, PT Bukit Asam Dermaga Kertapati, and local government heads and officials. The study discovered that the "LENTERA Sukamoro" program from PTBA Derti was able to solve a variety of difficulties in Sukamoro Village, including a large number of housewives who do not have jobs or engage in productive activities, poverty, a lack of skills, and unproductive land issues. The "LENTERA Sukamoro" program enables the community to enhance its skills and capacities, raise income and welfare, and gain access to renewable energy. This study adds to the limited literature on CSI in Indonesia by examining how commercial organizations in the country contribute to community development through CSI. This studys findings should be valuable to community development practitioners, CSI providers, and researchers.

| Smart Nanocomposite in the SiC-Si-Al-Al2O3-Geopolymer System | Author : Zviad. Kovziridze, | Abstract | Full Text | Abstract :Goal-obtaining of composite in the SiC-Si-Al-Al2O3 (nanopowder)-geopolymer system with the metal-thermal method in the nitrogen medium. Method- In the present paper nanocomposite with SiALON was obtained through alum-thermal process in the nitrogen medium on the base of Geopolymer (kaolin and pology cley – Ukraine), SiC, alumina oxide nanopowder, aluminum nanopowder and Si powder with small additives of glas perlite (Aragatz, Armenia) by the reactive baking method. The advantage of this method is that compounds, which are newly formed thanks to interaction going on at thermal treatment: Si3N4, Si, AlN are active, which contributes to SiALON formation at relatively low temperature, at 1250-13000C. Results-ß-SiAlON was formed at the sintering of SiC-aluminium and silicium powder, geopolymer at 14500C. Porosity of carbide SiAlON composite obtained by reactive sintering, according to water absorption, equals to 13-15%. The samples were fragmented in a jaw-crusher and were powdered in attrition mill till micro-powder dispersion was obtained. Then samples were hot-pressed at 16200C under 30 MPa pressure. Hold-time at the final temperature was 8 min. Sample water absorption, according to porosity, was less than 0.4%. Further studies were continued on these samples. Conclusion-the paper offers processes of formation of SiC-SiAlON composites and their physical and technical properties. Phase composition of the composites was studied by X-ray diffraction method, while the structure was studied by the use of optic and electron microscope. Electric properties showed that the specimen A obtained by hot-compression is characterized by 2 signs lower resistance than the porous material B, which was used to receive this specimen. Probably this should be connected with transition of the reactively baked structure of the hot-compressed material into compact structure. Obtained materials are used in protecting jackets of thermo couples used for melted metal temperature measuring (18-20 measuring) and for constructions used for placing objects in factory furnaces.
