Abstract :Sunbathing consecutively every day for 15 days is a method to obtain benefits from sunlight. The purpose of this writing is to investigate the impact of sunlight on individuals with hypertension. This research involves a literature study of 15 articles published between 2022 and 2022, utilizing a combination of qualitative, quantitative, and correlation research methods. The findings indicate that 30-40% of hypertension cases take place during adulthood, with risk factors including habitual alcohol consumption leading to addiction, microvascular vasomotion failure triggered by excess sodium, arterial stiffness resulting from a lack of physical exercise, and calcium deficiency affecting peripheral vascular resistance. Sunbathing can result in a localised heating mechanism and an increase in lipid levels, which may lower blood pressure. From a nursing perspective, it is essential to consider the psychological aspects of hypertensive patients during treatment and encourage changes in their behaviour. This is a key aspect of cognitive-behavioural therapy. Conclusion: sunbathing may be a way of harnessing the benefits of sunlight to control blood pressure while encouraging behavioural change through a cognitive-behavioural therapy approach. |

Author : Adinda Rizki Aprillia, Elisabeth Isti Daryati, Rosa Nora Lina |
Abstract | Full Text |
Abstract :Background: Immunization is an effective way to boost the immune system and prevent infection of diseases that can be prevented by immunization (PD3I). Immunization services in Indonesia have declined by 87% in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Purpose: This study aims to analyze the relationship between mother’s behavior and family support with basic immunization completeness during the pandemic period in Primary Healthcare Service (PKM) Kampung Manggis. Methods: Quantitative research with correlation design and cross-sectional approach methods. The population in this study was a mother who had a child aged 9-18 months in PKM Kampung Manggis with a total of 77 mothers. The sample was calculated using the Slovin formula, and the sample amounted to 72 mothers. Results: The statistical test used was the Chi-Square test, which obtained the result of the existence of a relationship between mother’s behavior (p = 0.009) and there was no relationship between family support (p= 0.183) with basic immunization completeness. Conclusion: COVID-19 affects the mother’s behavior in supplementing immunization for the child. Recommendations for future researchers to add health-supporting energy variables to basic immunization completeness. |

Author : Khalda Agustin, Lina Indrawati, Hilda Meriyandah |
Abstract | Full Text |
Abstract :Background: Asthma is a chronic non-communicable lung disease characterized by frequent and sudden asthma attacks. If individuals with asthma experience attacks as a heterogeneous disease, they will become dependent on medication and respiratory devices. Asthma does not have persistent symptoms but may experience exacerbations ranging from mild to severe, which can lead to death. Asthma exacerbations are marked by a progressive increase in symptoms such as shortness of breath, coughing, wheezing, chest tightness, and a progressive decline in lung function.
Objective: This study aims to determine the relationship between anxiety levels and sleep quality among asthma patients at Bekasi Jaya Community Health Center in 2023.
Methods: This quantitative study employed a cross-sectional design. The population consisted of all asthma patients at the health center, totaling 85 respondents. A total sampling technique was used to collect data.
Results: The study results, with a 95% confidence level or a significance level of 5% (0.05), showed a p-value of 0.000, which is less than the significance level of 0.05. This indicates that the null hypothesis (H0) is rejected, meaning there is a relationship between anxiety levels and sleep quality among asthma patients at Bekasi Jaya Community Health Center in 2023.
Conclusion: Based on the statistical analysis using the chi-square test, it can be concluded that there is a significant relationship between anxiety levels and sleep quality among asthma patients at Bekasi Jaya Community Health Center in 2023. |
