However, the adoption rate and the determinants associated with the integration of ChatGPT among medical students remain under-researched. Methods: A cross-sectional study was conducted on 335 medical students at Hanoi Medical University. Data was collected using an online questionnaire in KoboToolbox, employing a convenience sampling method. The data was analyzed using Stata 17.0, employing descriptive statistics and multivariate logistic regression to examine the relationship between demographics, knowledge, and attitudes toward ChatGPT. Results: The results showed that 73.4% of students had used ChatGPT, with 68.7% using it to complete assignments and 61% believing that the tool helped save time and effort. However, only 17.9% were aware of ChatGPTs limitations. Positive knowledge and attitudes towards ChatGPT increased the likelihood of using the tool. Students with a good academic performance level were 3.25 times more likely to use ChatGPT than excellent students (OR=3.25; p=0.013), and the Dentistry department had the highest usage rate, 4.53 times higher than the General Medicine department. Conclusion: Medical students use GPT chat at a comparatively high rate. Integrating this tool into medical education requires specific guidelines to maximize benefits while ensuring accuracy and ethics. |

| Effectiveness of a Dental Pop-Up Book in Sign Language on the Oral Hygiene Levels of Deaf Students at Special School in Jember | Author : Firmansyah Adi Pradana, Berlian Prihatiningrum, Roedy Budirahardjo | Abstract | Full Text | Abstract :Background: Dental and oral hygiene is the most important issue in a child with special needs, one of which is deafness with poor hearing function. Such limitations affect knowledge, resulting in attitudes and actions in keeping their teeth and mouth clean. Education through dental and oral health uses a printing medium that uses the visual aids of the deaf. A dental pop-up sign-language book taps into a three-dimensional visual display and a mix of sign language as a medium. This study aims to determine and examine the effectiveness of a sign-language dental pop-up book on dental and oral hygiene in SDLB 1 Patrang (special school) and SDLB B Bintoro (special school). Methods: This was a type of experimental research with a pre-experimental approach. The method used was a one-group pretest-posttest with a one-week intervention. Research subjects included 25 special school students from 1 Patrang and special school B Bintoro. Results: After administering ANOVA analysis, there was a difference. The intervention given using the dental pop-up book showed a different effect. According to analysis from Bonferroni, the use of dental pop-up books is effective for deaf children in the extremely severe category. Conclusion: Dental pop-up sign-language books are effective in increasing dental and oral hygiene in special school 1 Patrang and B Bintoro. |
| Prenatal Yoga as an Effort to Maintain Mental Health of Pregnant Women | Author : Rury Narulita Sari, Nisa Ardhianingtyas, Wida Rahma Arwiyantasari | Abstract | Full Text | Abstract :Background: Pregnancy brings both happiness and anxiety, as well as discomfort due to physical and psychological changes. As the pregnancy progresses, the discomfort increases, one of which is caused by the enlargement of the uterus leading to back pain. Excessive anxiety can affect mental health and may trigger depression during pregnancy. Prenatal yoga is one of the efforts that can be undertaken to overcome anxiety and discomfort in pregnant women. Prenatal yoga can help mothers feel more relaxed, thereby reducing anxiety. This study aims to explore in depth the effectiveness of implementing prenatal yoga in maintaining the mental health of pregnant women in the third trimester. Methods: Qualitative research methods with a phenomenological approach were used. The study was conducted at PMB Bd. Endah Wiendarti, SST Madiun in January 2025. The key informants were 10 pregnant women in the third trimester who participated in prenatal yoga, and the additional informants were midwives and companions of the pregnant women. Data collection techniques included in-depth interviews. Data analysis was carried out by categorizing data, presenting data, and drawing conclusions. Results: The results of the study show that prenatal yoga can maintain mental health, including helping mothers feel more relaxed, less anxious, and more prepared for childbirth. Conclusions: The conclusion of this study is that implementing prenatal yoga is beneficial in maintaining the mental health of pregnant women in the third trimester, helping them to be better prepared for childbirth. It is necessary to provide information about prenatal yoga from the beginning of pregnancy so that mothers can participate at the appropriate time to reduce discomfort in the third trimester. |
| Evaluating Acceleration of Stunting Prevention in Indonesia (2018-2024): A Roadmap-Based Program Analysis | Author : Alfi Rusdianti, Suparji Suparji, Heru Santoso Wahito Nugroho, Budi Joko Santosa, Sunarto Sunarto | Abstract | Full Text | Abstract :Indonesia’s 2018-2024 National Roadmap for Stunting Prevention aims to reduce stunting prevalence to 14% by 2024 through multisectoral interventions. This commentary evaluates the program’s acceleration, identifying systemic gaps in implementation despite robust policy frameworks. Using qualitative analysis of government reports, field studies, and secondary data, we assess progress against key roadmap indicators, including nutrition-specific interventions, community empowerment, and interagency coordination. Findings reveal persistent challenges: fragmented coordination between national and local agencies, uneven funding distribution favoring urban centers, and inadequate real-time monitoring systems. Case studies from regions like Lombok (successful integrated nutrition campaigns) and Papua (persistent access barriers to clean water and healthcare) illustrate disparities in program effectiveness. Additionally, socio-cultural factors, such as low parental awareness of nutrition, further hinder progress. We argue that accelerating stunting reduction requires strengthening decentralized governance, prioritizing budget equity for rural areas, and leveraging digital tools for data integration. Community-driven education initiatives, supported by local leaders, are critical to shifting health behaviors. Without addressing these structural and operational bottlenecks, Indonesia risks missing its 2024 target, undermining broader Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) linked to child health and equity. This analysis urges policymakers to adopt adaptive, evidence-based strategies to transform roadmap commitments into actionable outcomes. |
| Digital Distractions and Childhood Attention: Challenges and Interventions | Author : Rinu Johnsburg George, Manoj Larson, Shiny Tholidumpara Sam | Abstract | Full Text | Abstract :Attention span is a critical determinant of academic performance and cognitive development in children. To synthesize the literature on factors influencing attention span among school-aged children, assessment strategies, and interventions. A narrative review was conducted using articles from PubMed, Scopus, and Google Scholar between 2015 and 2024. Studies were selected based on relevance, methodological quality, and thematic alignment. Factors affecting attention span include age, sleep, screen time, nutrition, classroom environment, and neurodevelopmental conditions. Interventions such as mindfulness, physical activity, and structured classroom routines showed positive effects. Attention span is influenced by multifaceted factors. Holistic, evidence-based approaches are required to enhance attention in school children. |
